					                    THIS GLORY
“For it was fitting for Him, for whom are all things and by
whom are all things, in bringing many sons to glory, to make the
captain of their salvation perfect through sufferings” (Heb 2:10)

“And the glory which You gave Me, I have given them, that they
may be one just as We are one” (John 17:22)

All glory belongs to God, He is the only one who has glory (1Cor 1:31, 2Cor 10:17, Is 42:8,
Jer 9:23-24). There is no need for salvation if we have this glory but the bible says that „for
all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God (Rom 3:23). When Jesus Christ was born,
the angel of the Lord and the hosts of heaven were singing, “Glory to God in the highest and
on earth peace, goodwill toward men” (Luke 2:13-14)

When Moses was taking the children of Israel to the Promised Land, he said “Show me Your
Glory” (Exod 33:18); God is God of glory and His glory, He does not give to any other
person. We do not give glory to ourselves but to God; Apostle Paul said „to God alone wise,
be glory through Jesus Christ forever, Amen‟ (Rom 16:27). When the glory of the Lord
comes upon you, it changes your life and it transforms you; struggle ceases. After Moses
finished erecting the tabernacle in the wilderness, the cloud covered the tabernacle of
meeting and the glory of the Lord filled the tabernacle such that Moses could not enter the
tabernacle (Exod 40:33-35).

When the glory of the Lord fills your house, all those wise men or counsellors will stop
counselling you because there is nothing to advise you about anymore, because the glory of
the Lord is upon your life. Solomon made a lot of sacrifices whereby fire came down from
heaven and consumed the burnt sacrifice and the glory of the Lord filled the house of the
Lord, even the priest could not enter the house of the Lord (2Chr 5:13-14, 2Chr 7:1-2)

When the glory of the Lord is upon you, you forget about anything that is disturbing you
because the glory of the Lord has taken over (Is 60:1). Probably, the enemies have disabled
you, they have made you to be stagnant and even barricaded your life; you will rise and then
you will shine, that even at your old age, you will still bear fruits because of the glory of
God. When you are rising, your enemies are falling in the name of Jesus Christ. You will not
miss the glory of God in the name of Jesus Christ: you might have been condemned, rejected
or abandoned, God will make you an eternal excellence, the joy of many generations (Is
60:15). People may bury your blessing but it is the glory that is shining; your glory can not
be buried in the name of Jesus Christ. You have been sitting for so long, today, you will rise,
even if there is something that is destabilizing you, you will rise in the name of Jesus Christ.
God is God of second chance; you will rise again spiritually, financially and physically in the
name of Jesus Christ (Micah 7:8).

When the glory of the Lord comes upon your life, you will eat the riches of the gentiles and
in their glory you shall boast in the name of Jesus Christ. When the glory of the Lord comes
upon your life, you will shine, you will be the best in your work place, in your family and in

the community; stop thinking that it is over for you, stop thinking about what the doctors say,
stop thinking of what the devil says, you will rise in the name of Jesus Christ.

The Lord has given us His glory as He is God of glory (John 17:5); if the glory of the Lord
comes upon your life, you are illuminated, your heart becomes pure and clean (Rev 21:23),
God passed His glory to Jesus Christ and Jesus Christ passed the glory to us (Prov 3:35, Rom
8:29). The Lord says that you are a child of glory, even the sun, the moon and the star have
their own glory (1Cor 15:41, Ps 8:5, Heb 2:7); Jesus Christ has glory and He is our head then
we are His glory (Col 2:10). Jesus Christ glorifies us (John 1:14), all glory belongs to God,
man should not give glory to himself (Is 40:6-8). Herod died because he did not give glory to
God (Acts 12:23). It is not good for the glory of the Lord to depart from you (1Sam 4:19-22);
people respect you because the glory of the Lord is upon you, your enemies are unable to get
rid of you because the glory of the Lord is upon you. Jesus Christ will come in His glory to
reward everybody according to his deeds (Matt 16:27), nobody can change the word (1Pet
5:10); may he give you His glory today in the name of Jesus Christ.

When the glory comes; it makes room for you, glory opens doors for you, glory makes you to
cross over, it makes a way for you where there is no way. The moment that the devil knows
that there is a glory coming onto this earth, he fashions all his weapons but glory be to God in
the highest; He will never allow His glory to be sunk. When Moses was to be born, Pharaoh
made a decree that every male child being born by the Hebrew women must be killed but the
midwives did not do so (Exod 1:15-16). This same Moses saw the glory of God, his
countenance was changed when he was coming down from the mountain to the level that
Aaron could not stand to face him.

The Lord has made you His glory therefore;
   1. This glory shall not die; let anything be happening in the kingdom of darkness
concerning you, you shall not die; enemies will not be able to get rid of you in the
name of Jesus Christ. Enemies might have made any decree in your family or there
might be something that they have done against you in form of incantation or
concerning your placenta at birth; you shall not die in the name of Jesus Christ (John
      10:11, 18). May every evil arrow be sent back to sender in the name of Jesus Christ;
forget about negative medical report (Col 2:14)
   2. This glory shall not perish (Ps 91, Ps 121)
   3. This glory shall not suffer: Moses was brought up in the palace because of the glory,
you shall not suffer in the name of Jesus Christ; problems and suffering will varnish
      from your life in the name of Jesus Christ (Exod. 2:9-10). May the Lord bless you;
no more loans, no more overdrafts, no more borrowing before you can survive in the
name of Jesus Christ (Deut. 28:12-13)
   4. This glory shall not go down: your glory shall not varnish or disappear in the name of
      Jesus Christ.

Remember that only God has glory which has been transferred to us through Jesus Christ,
therefore, knowing that you are the glory of God; this glory can not die or perish or suffer
and it can not go down in the name of Jesus Christ.

Today, if you have not given your life to Jesus Christ, now is the time to confess Him as your
personal saviour; open the door of your heart and allow Him to come in so that His glory will
come into your life and turn things around for you for good.
For those who are already in the Lord, may you continue to enjoy the glory of God and may
this glory never depart from you in the name of Jesus Christ.

             REMAIN BLESSED IN THE LORD
               APOSTLE MATTHEW OLUWAJOBA
                 GENERAL OVERSEER (CUPM)
