The rooftop garden has been designed to reflect Amnesty International’s concerns for ethical, social and
environmental responsibility and to reinforce this, wherever possible, materials will be made from sustainable
sources. The garden terrace will be constructed of overlapping wooden decking panels and will incorporate a pool
and sculpture of the Amnesty International symbol.
The garden will be themed using gold, orange and red flowers and designed to attract a variety of birds and
insects. After Chelsea the garden will be transferred to the London headquarters of the International Secretariat of
Amnesty International, where it will be a rooftop garden for staff, volunteers and visitors.
Last time Millbrook were at Chelsea was in 2002 when they won a Silver Gilt Medal for a Courtyard Garden.
This years Chelsea Flower Show takes place from 22-26 May.
