Good start to 2010
Thanks to all band members for making the effort to attend the Australia Week event
at Woodville Library. We received very positive feedback from the organisers of this
event and hope to play there again next year.

Thanks also to all band members and parents who made the Adelaide Crows Carols
a great success for the band in December 09. Again, we have received good
feedback from the Crows.

Rehearsals so far this year have also been well attended and some good progress
has been made on new charts.

A reminder that tea, coffee and biscuits are available during rehearsal breaks, for 50
cents. All band members are welcome to contribute something to supper
occasionally.

Please take note of the dates above. There are many events on the calendar that we
are working on, and will confirm dates as soon as possible. These tentative dates
listed above may change.


Committee changes
You may know that Narelle Schultz, our Friends of the Band and Publicity Officer,
has taken a teaching position in Renmark. Thanks to Eva and Robert for offering to
take over some tasks from Narelle’s roles, to keep word out there about each
upcoming gig.
Thanks also to Narelle for her work over the last two years.


Annual General Meeting (AGM) Wed 7 April
Our AGM will be held at Adelaide High School in our normal rehearsal time. There
will be no rehearsal that night, but all members are encouraged to attend. Please
bring a small plate of supper to share. The AGM is your opportunity to hear about
projects the committee have been working on, and to put forward your ideas about
the band. Annual membership fees for the band will be due after the AGM. Fees are
$30 or $20 concession, and are payable to Jason.


Woodville Town Hall
There are no confirmed dates at this stage as to when we will be able to move back
into the Woodville Town Hall. We do still expect this to be happening mid-year, and
will let everyone know when the change over will be taking place.
When that does occur, a few helping hands, especially those with tow bars and
trailers, would be greatly appreciated.


New members welcome
A reminder that new members are always welcome to join the band. If you know
anyone who may be interested in joining the band, please invite them to come to
rehearsal. More musicians are needed in every section!
