Important Information Getting There
Accommodation at Gluepot:
Although accommodation is available at Waikerie, it is
64km away (11/4 hours travel) so we suggest you camp
Environmental Education Centre
at the Reserve as your best option. There are three Presents
camping grounds to choose from and you will need to be
fully self-sufficient in regard to your camping equipment,
a course on
water and food supplies. The camping grounds provide
well-spaced sites that are suitable tents, caravans and

vehicles. Toilets are provided at each camping ground With Bronwyn Bean
but power is not available. The Reserve has an excellent,
well maintained track system suitable for 2 WD vehicles
and mountain bikes. Course fees include camping fees.
What you will need to bring to the course:
• Rotary pencil – size 0.35 (preferable) or 0.5, and HB leads
• Lead pencils – F, 2B and 6B
• Clear ruler
• Eraser (not essential)
• Paper stick
• Paper for practice and exercises
• Surgical blade – size 10 or 22 (can be purchased through
instructor)
• Bristol board, A3, hot pressed or Scholler paper (paper
needs to be able to have pencil scraped off with a razor or
Stanley knife without damage to the paper)
• Hand lens x10
• Dissecting kit (if owned)
