The New Seagate Hotel & Spa, Delray Beach, Florida
The Orchid Tea Room is happy to announce the creation of a
Specialty Tea Menu for Delray Beach’s new luxury hotel and
spa which opened its doors on Sunday, November 1, 2009.
This 162 room luxury boutique hotel is truly a sight to see. If
you are a fish lover you will be awed by their 5,000 gallon
lobby aquarium housing rare South Pacific anemone. Three other tanks throughout the
hotel contain other exotics including jelly-fish & eels.
While each of their exquisite guest rooms feature marble
bathrooms, Egyptian bedding, Keurig coffee makers, Ipod
sound stations and designer furniture, room rates will be
comparable to other local hotels. ($159 per night until
season!) I found Sunday’s lunch in the chic Atlantic Grille to be reasonably priced for
the quality of the food and variety of the menu. It even has a wine tasting room!

But the absolutely best part of this little gem is the 8,000 square ft. SEAGATE SPA.
Cecilia Redigan, Spa manager extraordinaire, has gathered the finest therapists expert
in their profession. I began my escape with Betty Escobar’s warm welcome into this
dream paradise by offering me a sample the Seagate’s Signature Tea Selection.
It’s Betty’s responsibility to see to your every need and
at this she excels! First its off to the Seagate’s one of a
kind organic nail salon overlooking their Olympic size
infinity pool! Here Cosmetologist Donna Jansen
explains the technique in blending your own special
formulation catering to each individual client. I chose
the Arnica. Every pedicure includes a Seagate Foot Stone Massage!
As I sat relaxing in the most comfortable sofa I have sat in, sipping
more of that specially blended tea, massage therapist Michelle Van Bemmel arrived
to escort me to my Hot Sea Shell Massage. I was so impressed with the individually
temperature controlled rooms equipped with their own IPOD dock, in case I cared to
bring my own music, and the exotic Egyptian sheets. The shells were warm, therapeutic
& the essential oil treatment made me float into another world. Don’t worry, you need
not be a guest of the hotel to enjoy these unique spa services. You will find The
Seagate’s Signature Tea Selection in the Spa’s reception as well as in AQUA, the hotel
gift shop, along with many other unique finds. http://www.theseagatehotel.com
