Balance Sheet[7]
Balance Sheet This template is a financial report for businesses. It is primarily used to report the financial condition of the firm to the owners. It is also presented to lenders to obtain financing. Please note that "accumulated depreciation" and "doubtful accounts" must be entered as negative numbers. The Retained Earnings figure for each year is calculated, to insure that Assets equal Liabilities plus Equity. To view the template, click the worksheet tab labeled Template at the bottom of the screen or press Ctrl-PgDn. With the exception of data entry cells, all cells are protected. Use the Tab key to move from one unprotected cell to the next.
