Within the framework of the Mission, Vision, Values and Philosophy as well as the Policies of St Vincent’s Hospital and the Division of Nursing, the professional registered nurse is responsible for the provision of quality nursing care to patients which includes attention to their physical, social, emotional and spiritual needs as well as communication with concern for their significant others.
