Course Description
 ECNG 1016 introduces students to the theory
 and application of the Laplace Transform.
 The Laplace transform is an essential
 mathematical tool of an electrical engineer
 • used for analyzing certain systems of differential
   equations

Course Description
 Laplace transforms are used extensively in
 ECNG 2011 Signals and Systems to model
 linear systems.
 Students are therefore required to pass
 ECNG 1016 before they can attempt ECNG
 2011.

The aims of ECNG 1016 are:
  To introduce students the Laplace transforms
  and its properties
  To introduce students to the application of the
  Laplace Transform in solving ordinary differential
  equations.
