Single Mothers In Search Of Extra Income The New Frontier Single mothers everywhere are taking control of their lives! They're gaining the freedom to spend more quality time with their children and achieving true financial security! "The New Frontier" as a "Single Mother" is about living your life to the fullest and enjoying the best that life has to offer. It is about living stress-free, living happier, and healthier lives. It's about freedom to control your future! The freedom to set your own hours, to spend more time with your children and loved one. What Does The Future Hold In Store For You? Take a moment and think seriously about your current financial circumstances. Does 2007 look bright and secure? or do you look into the future with fear? Are you struggling financially and desperately searching to find a way out? Are you trapped in a dead-end job? Are you earning enough money to buy the things that you need and take care of your children? If your present circumstances remain the same, where will you be in six months? Next Year this time? In five years? For most single mothers, that's a terrifying thought! Change What You Are Doing Make 2007 the year you gain financial independence. You can break the shackles of your limitations by changing your attitude and the way you look at your problems. Empower yourself to succeed. You are not alone! A Simple And Informative Solution I am excited to share my ideas with you. I specifically wrote this article so you will discover an exciting and powerful strategic idea that will inspire you to discover how to be all you are meant to be. In August 2006, I did a survey of fifty single mothers. The focus of the survey was to determine how they supplement their limited incomes and if they would recommend these resources to other single mothers. I was so overwhelmed with the responses that I wanted to share this information with other mothers that were struggling financially or looking for other means of supplementing their incomes. Look through the following list and see if you can create some of these items to sell for a profit or provide some of the services listed. The average extra income earned per month was between $200 to $400. You are only limited by the number of products you can produce or the services you provide. AFTERSCHOOL CARE Provide after school care for mothers that work. BABYSITTING Provide babysitting on Friday and Saturday evenings so that mothers can enjoy a night out. BICYCLES Rent bicycles by the hour, day or week. CLEANING SERVICES Provide basic cleaning services for mothers that work. COOKING Cook and decorate birthday, wedding and special occasions cakes. CRAFTING Embellish towels and bath cloths to create a set for special occasions or gift items. FLOWERS Create beautiful centerpieces. INSTRUCTOR Provide workshops and classes on how to sew, cook or use computers. LAUNDRY Provide laundry services such as pick-up and delivery, wash, dry and fold. PERSONAL CHEF Prepare meals for mothers that work and get home too late in the evening to cook. Teach classes on how to prepare healthy and easy meals for the mom on the go. ROOM MAKEOVERS Update the look of a room by rearranging the furniture and adding some very inexpensive accessories. SEWING Sewing and Alterations for children's clothing. Sew items such as pillows, placements, curtains, tablecloths, table runners and chair covers. Embroider hats, pillows, sheets, towels and clothing. Teach classes on how to re-cycle clothes and give them a new look. TRANSPORTATION SERVICES Provide transportation for mothers that do not drive or do not have access to a car. Pick-up and delivery services. TYPING Provide typing for letters, resumes, documents, scrapbooking. This is just a very brief list of ways single mothers are supplementing their incomes. They are creating products and providing services out of their need for extra cash for emergencies, food, clothing, car maintenance, vacations, entertainment, pay bills and pursue a profitable business. As a single mother, I challenge you to find ways to supplement your income and make 2007 the year you become financially successful by creating a product or providing a service.
