DO YOU HAVE TIME TO HELP OTHERS IN THE GARDEN?
Easy Care Gardening volunteers work in teams in the gardens of frail aged
and people with a disability on a pension in Ku-ring-gai, Hornsby, Ryde and
                       Hunters Hill.
The volunteers make the gardens safe and tidy for the needy householders by
weeding, pruning and and using mulch to create an “easy care” garden. This makes it possible for
these people to stay in their own homes avoiding premature or unnecessary institutionilisation.
Work for as little as 3 hours at a time. No experience necessary - volunteers just need to be fit enough
to help! Work alongside experienced volunteers and learn skills you can use in your own garden.
