11   Communication      This field shows the present status of the protocol status machine.
     status field       Possible messages: Wait/Send/Receive
12   RK512 status field This field shows the success (OK) or the failure (Permission Error/
                        Protocol Error) after sending of an command or changing of a value.
13   Message text field This field shows the version text of the unit package Pulsar 2000 A
                        and the path of the used Pulsar2k.ini file for the start.
14   Program version    This field show the program version of this operating program.

15   DC1 field          This field is green, if the button „DC Source 1 ON/OFF“ is on.
                        It is red, if the button „DC Source 1 ON/OFF“ is off.
16   DC2 field          This field is green, if the button „DC Source 2 ON/OFF“ is on.
                        It is red, if the button „DC Source 2 ON/OFF“ is off.
17   RUN field          This field is green, if the pulsation is running.
                        It is red, if the pulsation isn’t running.
18   Error field        This field is red, if an error occurs. It is grey, if no error is present.
19   COM port field     This field shows the actual local COM interface and its status. The
                        status should be „Open“. If the status is „Closed“, the interface is not
                        available or used by another program. Then please select another
                        COM interface.
20   Last com. field    This field shows the last communication (pulsation) in seconds.

1       Setting of the    This field shows the actual operation mode.
        operation modes   5 modes are possible:
                          • Bipolar:              Positive and negative impulses will be generated.
                          • Unipolar Neg.: Only negative impulses will be generated.
                          • Unipolar Pos.:        Only positive impulses will be generated.
                          • DC Neg.:              A negative direct voltage will be generated.
                          • DC Pos.:              A positive direct voltage will be generated.
2       Multiplex mode If the hook is set the multiplex mode is switched on and then the pulses
                          will be switched alternate via the H-bridge 1 and H-bridge 2.
                          If the hook isn’t set the muliplex mode is switched off and then the pul-
                          ses will be switched simultaneous via both H-bridges.
3       Mode variable     Display of the received value of the mode variable.
4       Status variable   Display of the received value of the status variable.
5       Pulse parameter In this fields the pulse duration and the pulse form will be set in the unit
        (Pulse Pos. On,   µs. Minimum permissible are 5µs per pulse unit and maximum permissi-
         Pulse Pos. Off,  ble are 32000µs (32ms) per pulse unit.
         Pulse Neg. On, When the maximum/minimum permissible total period time (Multiplex:
         Pulse Neg. Off) On = 20µs – 32767µs / Muliplex: Off = 40µs – 65535µs) will be excee-
                          ded, the error „Cofiguration Error“ will be set and the pulsation will be
                          stopped.
6       Total period time This field shows the maximum period time and the period duration. If
                          the permissible period duration will be exceeded the characters get red
                          to show an error before it will be transmitted to the control.

7    DC1/DC2 set       This fields are for the setting of the set values (V = Voltage, I = Current,
     values            P = Power), which will be sent to the DC sources.
8    DC1/DC2 actual    This fields show the actual values (V = Voltage, I = Current, P = Power)
     values            delivered back from the DC sources.
9    Error field       This window shows all errors, which are present.

1    ARC level pos. pulse   This field is for the setting of the ARC threshold for the positive
                            pulse. Possible values: 0-200 A.
2    ARC level neg. pulse   This field is for the setting of the ARC threshold for the negative
                            pulse. Possible values: 0-200 A.
3    ARC delay              This field is for the setting of the ARC delay time, the time between
                            the falling edge of the ARC impulse and the resumption of the pulse
                            operation. The range of values is between 30µs and 10000µs
                            (10ms).
4    ARC overflow           This field is for the setting of the number of the ARC events in an
                            ARC inteval. At an overrange the error „ARC Overflow“ will be
                            set.
                            Possible values: 1-10000.
5    ARC interval           This field is for the setting of the time interval in which the ARC
                            events will be counted. The interval can be set between 1ms and
                            10000ms.
6    ARC count              This field shows the number of the ARC events occured during the
                            last ARC interval.

                               be shown.
9    Config DC1                This field is for the setting of the configuration of the communicati-
                               on style with the DC1 source.
                               Possible values: 0 = no source / 1 = analogue interface.
10   Config DC2                This field is for the setting of the configuration of the communicati-
                               on style with the DC2 source.
                               Possible values: 0 = no source / 1 = analogue interface.
11   DC1 Wait Rdy              This field is for the setting of the time after which the DC1 source
                               shall start.
12   DC2 Wait Rdy              This field is for the setting of the time after which the DC2 source
                               shall start.
13   Start mode                This field is for the setting of the start configuration of the control.

14   Option select    This field is for the setting of the options, which shall be activated.
                      A double click in this field opens a window, in which flags can be
                      set.
15   Refresh values   If the hook is set the program will refresh all values every n seconds
                      or minutes (adjustable in the pull-down field) automatic.
                      If the hook isn’t set the program will not refresh all values automa-
                      tic.
