catering to every desire will enthrall you.

DAY 2: Monday 1 November
What better time to look Melbourne over.
All the celebrities are in town & the big parades are
on. But there’s the rub! To each his own and all that.
Experience has shown that our preferences all differ
slightly. So with a quick stop at the information centre
at Federation Square to arm yourself with a map of
the city you can make your own decisions as to what else you want to see. Take the
special red tourist tram that goes around the city circle (actually it’s a rectangle) that, as
it is a free courtesy ride, allows you get on and off as you please.
For today only lunch is at your own expense. Explore such places
as the Observation Deck of the 55-storey Rialto Towers, the Old
Melbourne Gaol, Royal Exhibition Building, Bourke Street Mall,
St. Patrick’s Catherdral and the Melbourne Aquarium.
Note that on this day the trams do not run between 11am and
At 4pm, the coach takes you back to the motel, then to dinner.
DAY 3: Tuesday 2 November
Today will be an exhilarating day when we
head to Flemington racecourse.
Before settling into the reserved lawn
stand seats that are located right in front of
the winning post, a brunch of tea & coffee,
cheeses & bikkies, juice, sparkling wine
and strawberries and cream will be held
on the course at the bus!

Stroll around the concourse and watch the fashionable
ladies and punters, place a bet or two to win a bob or
Lunch will be in your own individual lunch snack
The coach will wait until 4:05pm - no later- for those
who wish to collect their winning bets, then back to the
motel for a dinner and drinks.

DAY 4: Wednesday 3 November
After breakfast we set off for morning tea in the Benalla rose
garden beside the statue of famed POW Surgeon Weary
