This new experience allows visitors to see the wine process outside the wine producing season. Up on
the big screen learn a little of the Hunter’s wine heritage, then see the grapes being harvested,
crushed and blended at the on site winery. A wine tasting follows the 15 minute show. Open every
day at 11am and 2pm. Individual bookings not required – however numbers limited for each show.

Hunter Valley Wine School
The two-hour Hunter Valley Wine School promises an education and an appreciation of wine. Walk
through the vineyard and learn how and why a grapevine grows. Then it’s off to the crusher, and into
the winery. See the huge vats, potter tanks, filtration equipment and the largest rotovat in the
Hunter. From there, the tour then moves through into the Cask Hall and on into the Wine Tasting
Cellars. The wine tutorial includes where wine is made, wine history, the different grape varieties and
the bouquets, tastes and colours that feature in different wines.
