Saturday Evening Dinner

Saturday Evening transportation will, considering the season and time of transfer (darkness),
be with busses from the Hotel to Venice Parking Area, there we will be met by Mr. Mario
Manni from Messrs. Agenzia Favret s.r.l, in Mestre. Mario is a native Veniceian and of
course has local knowledge of Venice. On our way from the Parking Area to San Marco
Plaza with our GAT-Ship Venice Boat, he will share his knowledge with us. Thereafter from
San Marco Plaza to Restaurant Antico Pignola, he will also guide us through some narrow
streets of Venice which you probably have to know to find your way around.

The restaurant is set in a 13th century building that used to
house the workshop of a blacksmith for the ducal stables; later
on, it became the bakery of a convent and then a spice
merchant’s store. In 1930 the Antico Pignolo Ristorante
occupied the premises and was, from its inception, designed
to cater to an exclusive and moneyed clientele. The evening
will start with the ubiquitous glass of Bellini, the signature
Venetian cocktail made from white-peach pulp (or peach
nectar) and Prosecco. Thereafter we will together enjoy an
excellent evening dinner.

Menu

Aperitivo del Benvenuto
Spaghetti allo scoglio ( con frutti di mare )
San Pietro alla Carlina or Medaglioni di vitello alla Lord Byron
Insalatine miste
Tiramisù
Caffè
Vino ed acqua minerale

Joint transportation back to the Hotel will be arranged.
