A Workshop on the Development of Self-Love and Self-Worth
“If there is a panacea or cure-all for life, it is self-love” Paul
What does it mean to love oneself unconditionally, to have unconditional self-love and
How can we end the pain of self-criticism, feeling unworthy and undeserving, self
deprecation and low self-esteem?
It is possible for us to develop self-love and self-worth and move into life as a whole,
masterful, independent person who is in the world to give rather than trying to get, to
fill an empty void within the self.
Lack of self-love and worth is one of the biggest psychological problems on this earth
and is the main cause of most problems along with not owning your personal power.
We cant love others if we don’t love ourselves and if you don’t get self-love from within
yourself you will be driven to find constant approval from other people. But if you don’t
feel worthy inside, no amount of external recognition can fill the void.
Lack of self-worth and self-esteem affect every aspect of your life.
We are here on this earth to learn and to grow in our capacity to love.
Most of us do our best to be loving but generally our love is conditional. It is based on
myself or the other person meeting certain conditions. I love you if …..
How can I learn to love myself and others unconditionally? Is this really possible?
Well, yes it is! We are in essence, unconditional love but we have to realise this and
uncover and rid ourselves of all the old negative beliefs and patterns that get in our way.
It is a journey of love, to allow love to be and to discover the truth of who we are.
We will reflect on
what love is and deepening our understanding of this
how I can improve on integrating unconditional love in myself and my life.
We will learn about the power of affirmations in helping to build new healthy spiritual
and positive belief systems and push out old negative belief systems.
