                                          Al-Ghazzali Centre for Islamic Sciences & Human Development has tirelessly been undertaking moonsighting to seek the
                                          crescent every month as part of a Communal Obligation upon Muslims, as well as has maintained Australia’s only publicly
                                          verfiable lunar calendar.

                                          Now, Al-Ghazzali Centre is taking this important obligation one step-further- by utilising advanced technology to seek the
                                          crescent every month, using state-of-the-art telescopes as well as guidance from Australia’s top Astronomy experts.

                                          The Sydney Observatory is working with Al-Ghazzali Centre to help track, view and maintain the most accurate lunar calendar
                                          available for Muslims.

Monthly visits to the Observatory are subject to “Crescent Probability Calculations”, and may be cancelled at the discretion of al-Ghazzali Centre.

Scheduled visits to the Observatory are based on a rotating roster, to allow all registrants an opportunity to participate at the Observatory.

Every participant for the Observatory must fulfil naked-eye observation montlhy program held at Peace Park, Ashbury.

Whilst al-Ghazzali Centre agrees to cover costs associated with using the Observatory, all participants are requested to contribute towards the ongoing costs.

The Observatory enforces particular conditions of use and must be adhered to. Al-Ghazzali Centre reserves the right to refuse access to any person breaching
rules and guidelines.
