Annual Averages Annual average labor force data and employment by industry for the state,counties, MSA's, and other areas. Published annually. Annual Workforce Reports Year-to-date labor force and industry employment estimates for the state and MSA’s Covered Employment & Wages Employment by industry by place of work for all UI covered establishments. State and county level data published annually. Focus on Mississippi A brief look at the labor force, employment by industry, average hours & earnings, population, per capita income, UI claims data and the consumer price index. Published monthly. Industry Projections Projected employment by industry sector over a ten year time frame for the state and selected areas. Updated every two years. Labor Market Data Estimates of the civilian labor force, employed, unemployed, and unemployment rate for the nation, state, MSA's, counties, cities and selected areas. Published monthly. LMI for Affirmative Action Labor force and population estimates by ethnic group and gender for use by employers in preparing Affirmative Action plans. Includes numerical data and percent distributions. Data tabulated for the state, counties and MSA’s. Published annually in April. Maps Various color maps portraying labor force, economic, industry, and demographic data. Updated periodically depending on the data source.

Updated every two years Occupational Wages Average, entry, and experienced wage rates, plus estimated employment by occupation for the state, MSAs, and Workforce Investment Areas. Published annually. Occupations in Demand A summary look at high demand occupations for the state and WIA areas covering the period 2004-2014. Included are tables on the top demand occupations by overall need, by wage rate and by level of preparation required. The 50 “hottest” jobs are highlighted. Quick Reference Monthly publication presenting a variety of economic and demographic data published for counties, Community College Districts, Planning and Development Districts and Workforce Investment Areas. State and Metro Trends Monthly analysis of changes in the labor force and employment by industry for Mississippi and all Metropolitan Statistical Areas. Data for the current month, prior month and year ago are presented with net and percent changes. Unemployment Insurance Activities Quarterly compilation of activities related to unemployment insurance. Includes data on claims filed, number of weeks compensated and total amount of unemployment benefits .
