Don Vista Cultural Arts Center
The Don Vista building has been an integral part of historic St. Pete Beach since its construction in 1925. Thomas J. Rowe, the builder of the Don CeSar Hotel and the developer of the surrounding Boca Ciega inlet, designed the Don Vista. Through the years the Don Vista has served as a private residence, offices, an Army hospital, and a Marine Fisheries Laboratory. Upon a 1973 gift from the Department of the Interior to the residents of St. Pete Beach, the city has utilized the building as a recreational and cultural community center. In 2005, city renovated the Don Vista, preserving much of its architectural structure. St. Pete Beach Family Aquatic Center
The St. Pete Beach Family Aquatic Center is a year-round heated facility that consists of a six-lane Junior Olympic swimming pool with an attached children’s play area featuring several water features that spray, drop and squirt. This play area consists of a mushroomshaped waterfall and colorful dumping cones. There are also two large tubular slides for older children. Tables, lounge chairs, showers, and dressing rooms are available for patrons. The pool area also features plenty of room for sunbathing as well as shade for escaping the hot sun. All areas are accessible to individuals with disabilities. Note: The pool is heated to 82 degrees.
Daily Admission Fees (plus 7% tax):
Youth (age 17 & under): Free with play card; $2.00 with rec card*; $4.00 without card* Adult (age 18 & up): Free with play card; $4.00 with rec card*; $6.00 without card* *$1.00 Heat Surcharge will be added to admission from November 1 thru April 1 All Patrons entering the pool must pay the entrance fee; No Refunds!

American Red Cross Learn to Swim Program: Certified American Red Cross Water Safety
Instructors will help your child progress through the levels of the American Red Cross Learn to Swim Program. Class sessions (8 lessons) are available in the morning or evening. The Community Center is available for rentals Monday through Sunday. The price per rental will depend on the number of people in your activity/event, if you are a resident of St. Pete Beach or not, and the hours for your event/activity. Please note that the charge for the room is listed as the room fee. Staff fee and table and chair rental fees are additional. Pool Rental
The pool can be rented during the hours the facility is not open to the public for a private party. A pool party is a great way to celebrate a birthday, graduation, religious organization, or corporate event. Exclusive rentals are available Saturday or Sunday. Lifeguards are provided.
