Dear Exhibitor, We have the pleasure to inform you of the NICE SHOULDER COURSE 2008 – which is an 3international 3-day shoulder course covering arthroscopic and prosthetic surgery from May 8 to 2008. May 10, 2008 This course, which is intended to be both, theoretical and practical will be held at the "Palais de la Mediterranée" – famous site facing the sea on the “Promenade des Anglais” in the center of the Nice. About 500 participants are expected to attend; the official language will be English English. Topics will address all facets of shoulder surgery. The program includes lectures by leading shoulder surgeons, a knot tying workshop, round table discussions, a live surgery session and workshops with cadavers and plastic models. Time for discussion will be allocated and a case will be presented at the end of each session then submitted to the audience for interaction followed by a vote for consensus. This year, we will have a special event on May 10; the whole day will be dedicated to shoulder fractures and their treatment options, orthopaedic treatment, percutaneous pinning or nailing, ORIF with plate or nail, hemiarthroplasty or reverse arthroplasty. A book will be published following the meeting including all interventions. The principle is to treat large subjects and to open the way for a free exchange of ideas between "shoulder surgery experts" and the audience on concepts based on their experience, without neglecting scientific evidence.

COST OF EXHIBIT SPACE The ground surface of each exhibit space is either 4 or BADGE 6m² (depending on the booth Exhibitors may register number), and will be two booth personnel free furnished with a table and of charge. The Nice Shoulder Course 2008 offers different possibilities of participation.
ADVERTISING & PUBLICITY In the congress bags (1,100€ each)
You have the possibility to put advertising material in the congress bag. We accept up to size A4 material and up to 5 pages. 600 copies of the material have to be sent directly to the Palais de la Méditerranée for Wednesday, May 7, 2008 before 10.00 AM. In the congress book (1,100 € each) You have the possibility of adding an advertisement in the form of a bookmark (recto or verso) which will be placed in the book (minimum 1000 copies). The number of advertisers is limited to 4 (i.e. 2 book marks). Please furnish a 50mm x 200mm type-set. WORKSHOPS (see floor plan page 6 + 7) Cadaver Workshops (800 € per cadaver) We propose the possibility of organizing practical Surgery Workshops at the anatomical Laboratory, Faculty of Medicine, Nice. These workshops will take place on Thursday, May 8 and Friday, May 9 (afternoon). Transportation for participants will be provided. Shoulder Model Workshops We offer the possibility of organizing practical arthroplasty or arthroscopy workshops (Alex models, Saw bones, etc.) in one of the Meeting rooms of the Palais de la Méditerranée. These workshops will take place on Thursday (May 8) and Friday (May 9), (Afternoon) and are included in the registration fee for participants. Meeting Areas in the reception hall “Espace Méditerranée”, level –1, Palais de la Méditerranée The total surface of this reception hall will be divided in 4 approximately 50 m² large areas. These areas will be separated by a row of plants or mobile folding screens and will have a capacity of 20 to 40 people. Rate per meeting area and per day 2,500.00 €
