                           Summer Aid Eligibility
                           In order to receive financial aid during Summer Session you must meet the following requirements:
                                • Be a continuing UCI student or entering Fall 2008.
                                • Be officially admitted to the MAT/Credential program in the UCI Department of Education.

                                1. Complete a 2007-08 FAFSA
                                2. Complete a Summer Session Financial Aid Application on line at www.ofas.uci.edu.
                                              Select “Log on to My Aid”
                                              Select “My Summer Aid” under the 2007-08 option
                                3. Enroll in Summer Session courses.
                                4. Return to “My Summer Aid’ to finalize your aid. You must finalize your aid by June 13th in
                                     order to have financial aid pay your course fees.


                           Applying Late
                           Late applications for summer financial aid will be accepted until August 4, 2008. After this date summer
                           financial aid is no longer processed.

           2825            Students are eligible to borrow any remaining funds which they may have available. To determine if you

                           For independent students who have borrowed their full FDSL eligibility during the academic year the only
                           form of funding for Summer Session is an alternative loan. Information on alternative loans is available
                           in the Office of Financial Aid and Scholarships.



                           Changes in Enrollment
                           •   In order to remain eligible for summer financial aid, you must complete at least twelve (12) units.
                           •   If you fail to complete twelve (12) your aid eligibility for the 2008-09 academic year may be im-
                               pacted.
                           •   Submit a “Summer Change of Status” form to notify the Financial Aid Office of any changes in en-
                               rollment including dropping units, changing sessions or no longer attending Summer Session.
                           •   Changes to your enrollment may result in being billed for funds received.
                           •   If you have any questions regarding the consequences of your enrollment changes, you should speak
                               to a Financial Aid Counselor.
Fee Payments
In order to have Summer Session fees paid students must:
• Submit a Summer Financial Aid Application.
• Accept your financial aid funds.
• Be enrolled in at least twelve (12) units.

The following are the dates course fees will be paid for on-time applicants:

         10-week Session            6/20/08
         Summer Session I           6/20/08
         Session I and II           6/20/08
         Session II only            8/01/08

Disbursements
Financial aid checks for summer will be disbursed in the same method as the academic year, either mailed
or deposited directly into your bank account.
Any changes in your disbursement information can be updated at https://sbs.adcom.uci.edu.

The following are the dates financial aid will be disbursed for on-time applicants:
         10-week Session            6/23/08
         Summer Session I           6/20/08
         Session I and II           6/20/08
         Session II only            8/01/08

courses (fees). Sample costs reflect enrollment in ten weeks of summer session coursework. Costs for only
