We invite you to the mysteries of the Kasbah:
Marrakech and the Atlas Mountains, Morocco
           From 2 – 7 March 2008
Each year on four occasions, Sfinx Women gather in extraordinary
places around the world to celebrate the five tenets of their being:
sophistication, femininity, influence, networking and x-citement. All
events are held in an atmosphere of luxury, adventure and discovery
and will include a number of cutting-edge presentations as well as a
beautifully-planned discovery of the destination. And of course
there will be some wonderful surprises.

Cavalier are delighted to invite you to join our fifth Sfinx event in
Morocco from 2- 7 March 2008 with an optional 2 day extension.

Our Magic in Morocco event will commence on Sunday 2 March 2008
in Marrakech, Morocco, at a former prince’s riad, now transformed
into a stunning boutique hotel. Our days will be spent in this
colourful and ancient city exploring the souks at the many stalls
selling leather goods, hand-crafted gold jewellery, bronze works and
other delights, discovering the secrets of Moroccan cooking at our
own workshop and visiting the historical sights!

On Tuesday afternoon we shall head into the high Atlas Mountains
below Imil where we can explore and trek up Jbel Toubkal, the
highest mountain in North Africa (and chosen by Martin Scorsese for
his film about the Dalai Lama), visit the local villages and delight in
the amazing experiences of the Kasbah.

On the way back to Marrakech on Thursday we savour the delights
of brunch at Richard Branson’s stunning resort, Kasbah Tamadot, the
menu created by a young Sth African chef Michelin-trained in Britain.

Departure is on Friday 7 March or you can join us for an optional
extension to Essaouira, the oldest and most important fishing port in
Morocco located on the Atlantic coast. Inhabited by Portuguese
during the 17th century and once a pirate community, this is a town
that has seen it all, and now is the focal point for the country’s young
contemporary artists.

We look forward to our adventure here to create friendships and a
camaraderie that will take us far beyond this destination. We shall
play and laugh and honour each other for the fabulous women that
we are. For this is a gift to us, from us because we always give to
everyone else, and now it is our time and our turn to receive.
Flights and Travel Arrangements

You will need to schedule a flight to arrive in Marrakech on Sunday 2
March and depart on Friday 7 March. If you are taking the optional
extension your return flight will leave from Marrakech on Sunday 9
March. Visas are not required for most passport holders. Please check.

Payment. We are delighted that we now have a secure on-line payment
account with Chronopay. All payments will now be made through this
system. Log on to our website www.sfinxwomen.com, and click on the
application form at the bottom of the Morocco page. You will be requested
to fill in all your details and when the payment goes through you will
receive a confirmation email from Chronopay. Please then forward this
email to Buzz on buzz@sfinxwomen.com so we know you are booked in.
All payments are done in US dollars. We list the approximate conversions in
UK, Euro and A$ below but these will change with currency fluctuations.

Included in the cost for the days 2 – 7 March 2008 are all
       -      transfers
       -      hotel accommodation (twin share) rooms. Enrolment will be
              taken in order of receipt.
       -      meals and drinks with meals
       -      all activities.

Cost for Sfinx Women
For members of Sfinx Women the cost, from pick up at the airport, to your
return back to the airport, including the above in twin-share accommodation
is US $ 3900. This approximates to Euro 2697 / $AUD 4196 / UK£ 1876.
Also included is your momentum coaching session after the event and the
intrinsic value of networking with other Sfinx Women. Single occupancy is
available on request. Please see below for the extension details and cost.

Cost for Guests
Guests or friends and colleagues of members are welcome to join Sfinx
Women for this experience.       The cost for a guest in twin share
accommodation is US $ 4650. This approximates to Euro 3215 / $AUD 4999
/ UK£ 2237. Single occupancy is available on request. Please see below for
the extension details and cost.

Not included are all items of a personal nature, including mini-bar and other
expenses at the places of accommodation, and flights to and from Morocco.
We require all participants to take out travel insurance to cover any
contingencies and no responsibility can be taken for anything outside our
control. All endeavours will be made to keep the itinerary as planned; any
changes will reflect the quality and standard of the original itinerary.
The Optional Extension to Essaouira

If you wish to join us for the additional two days the cost is
$US 1015 whether you are a Sfinx member or a guest. Single room
occupancy is expensive and rooms will be allocated according to the
order of receipt of your enrolment. The cost approximates to Euro
700, UK£488 and $A1091.

If you wish to share this additional two days, please add the cost to
your payment total. Please see the note below if you are paying in
instalments for the trip.

Cancellation Policy and Payment Options

March in Morocco is the prime tourist period so as we must pay
deposits immediately, your early commitment would be most
appreciated.

Should you wish, you can pay by two instalments: a non-refundable
deposit of $US1000 now and the balance by January 2. We can be
even more flexible should this suit you. Please email Buzz with your
request.

If you are taking the Essaouira option, please pay for this with your
deposit to secure it. Your deposit will therefore be US $ 2015.

Please take out travel insurance to cover loss of deposits/payment.
Cancellation after 2 January 2008 will incur loss unless your place is
taken by someone else.

Speakers and Presentations

The theme at all Sfinx events will be balanced between inspirational,
creative, practical, networking and contribution. Should you wish to
make a presentation at this or one of our events, please email your
suggestions to Connie at connie@sfinxwomen.com


Spiritual:   Joylina Goodings, our special spiritual teacher from
England is travelling with us to create some magic for all of us.
Joylina is a natural clairvoyant, healer and teacher who shares her
skills and gifts with us on our spiritual journeys.


Networking: To acknowledge and recognise the true power of
women and how that collective power can alter the status of all
women, no matter what their background or circumstances.


Contribution: Our charter is to direct 10% of our membership funds
to charitable causes to provide skills and purpose for the future of
women.


This is our fifth Sfinx event: in 2007 we shared the magic of
Carnevale in Venice, tango in Buenos Aires, the spirit of the land in
Africa and the remarkable Himalayas in Bhutan. Other wonderful
destinations are in the planning. If you have a particular favourite
you would like to visit with us, please let us know.
