                                         OFFER OF APPOINTMENT

Dear Sir/Madam,

1.      Refer to your application dated __________ for the post of Director/Principal/Teacher/Assistant
Teacher in _______(School Name, Location) and subsequent interview held on _____________(date). I
am happy to inform you that you have been appointed to the post of Director / Principal / Teacher /
Assistant Teacher with effect from ___________ (date) in the pay scale of _____________(pay scale) per
month. No other allowances except this basic salary is admissible in this pay scale.

2.       The terms and conditions for your appointment are as follows :-

     (a) The appointment is a temporary and no terminal benefits of any kind except Gratuity are
         attached to it.

     (b) You will be on probation from ___-____ (date) to ____-_____(date). During the probation
         period, your services are liable to be terminated without any notice or assigning any reason
         thereof. The probation period may be extended.

     (c) On successful completion of probation period of one year, extended probation period can be
         granted as and when the vacancy arises in that particular post. After confirmation, your services
         can be terminated by the Management of the school by giving one month’s notice or one
         month’s pay in lieu thereof. Similarly, in case you wish to leave the service at any stage you will
         also be required to give one month’s notice, failing which, the amount equivalent to one
         month’s pay will be recovered from your due security deposit amount.

     (d) As regards your duties and responsibilities, you will be required to follow the School Standing
         Order as amended from time to time.

     (e) You will strictly work only for this institution and will not take up any part time job anywhere,
         either during the School hours or after, failing which, you will be held guilty of misconduct and
         breach of trust, resulting in dismissal from service.

     (f) You will not engage yourself in any private tuitions outside the school premises after school
         hours.

    (g) The address given by you at the time of appointment or such other change of address with you
    will hear after, be intimated to the Management and will be deemed to have been received by you.
    In case of any change of address, you will inform the Management in writing one week of such
    change and get the new address recorded in your personal file.

    (h) Your leave shall be governed by the School Leave Rules, as amended from time to time. Absence
        for a continuous period of 10 days without sanction of leave would make you lose your right on
        the job and the same shall automatically come to an end without prior notice. The Management
        shall draw on presumption as if you have resigned from your job by remaining absent for such a
        long period.

    (j) Grant of leave shall depend on the exigencies of work of the institution and shall be at the
        discretion of the Managing Committee. Before proceeding on leave, you will have to apply for it.
        Similarly for extension of leave, an application shall be forwarded so as to reach the
        Management before the expiry of the leave initially granted. Leave will be got sanctioned before
        it is availed of.

    (k) You will be required to come to School on any holiday, if necessary, to attend extraordinary
        meetings or any other activity connected with the School, which cannot be easily postponed.
        Whenever your services are required to conduct any extracurricular activities after the teaching
        hours, you will do so willingly and as a part of your service.

    (l) Your yearly increment will be based on your performance of the past year of service in terms of
        efficiency, result, punctuality and maintenance of discipline and the same will be withheld if the
        performance is unsatisfactory.

    (m) After putting in five years service, you will be entitled for Gratuity for fifteen days per year of
        service. For the purposed of Gratuity, a sum of _____(amount) per month will be contributed by
        the Secretary (School name).

    (n) You will confirm acceptance of the above appointment in writing latest by ________ (date)on
        the certificate attached together with one month’s salary amounting to _________(amount) as
        security deposit failing which it will be assumed that you are not inclined to accept the job.

    (o) In case of any dispute, Director/Management/President/CEO _________(School name) will be
        the sole Judge and his/her decision will be final and binding on you.

    (p)     Your character verification through the nearest Police Station of your residence is also
          required.
