Configuration guide for Linux Configuration guide for the wireless network at JURA (Linux) To be able to log on to eduroam you need a wireless network card and a WEP-supplicant that supports 802.1x. This guide shows the configuration under Ubuntu using the Gnome Desktop. But it should apply to most Linux distributions using KDE or Gnome. Start gnetworkmanager (If you are using a KDE desktop it will be called knetworkmanager). Use the following settings: Name (ESSID): eduroam Under Wireless Security you select WEP Enterprise Under EAP Method select TTLS Under Identity type in your full e-mailadress, for example dit-navn@m6.jur.ku.dk Under Password type in your password. (Password for the wireless network made in PUNKT.KU) Click Login to Network to log on to eduroam
