NOTE:
1. Those who desirous of not utilizing the website shown at clause 16 can

Bangalore 560 017, India on payment of non-refundable tender fee as
indicated above, on all working days between 1400Hrs to 1600Hrs.
2. Tender fee shall be payable only in the form of bank draft drawn in favour
of Accounts Officer, ISRO Satellite Centre, payable at Bangalore. No
other mode of payment for tender fee is acceptable.
3. Venders/firms name and tender no. shall be indicated on the reverse side
of the Demand Draft.
4. While requesting for tender documents, please do not superscribe tender
number and due date on the envelope.
5. Detailed specification, terms and conditions are furnished in the tender
documents.
6. DD should not be dated prior to the date of advertisement / Intimation /
website. Separate requests and demand drafts shall be sent for each
tender document.
7. ISAC will not be responsible for non-receipt of tender documents/offers
due to postal delay / loss in transit.
8. Quotations received without payment of tender fee will be treated as
unsolicited.
9. Indian agents while quoting on behalf of their principals are requested to
provide necessary authorisation letter from their principals
10. The offer should be valid for the period of ninety days from the date of
opening.
11. Quotations received after the due date and time will not be considered.
12. While submitting your offer please super scribe tender no. and due date
on the envelope.
13. If tender opening date happens to be a public holiday tender will be
opened on the next working day.
14. No request for the extension of the due date will be considered.
15. Head, Purchase and Stores ISAC reserves the right to accept or reject
any tenders in part or full without assigning any reasons thereof..

DEHUMIDIFIER UNIT
QTY. : 01 No.
Specifications:
Solid desiccant type Dehumidifier unit and complete system for applications of
online dehumidification of ducted systems directed onto a specimen in a clean room
environment of class 100,000. Dehumidifier unit shall be fully automatic factory-
assembled packages unit complete with inlet filter for process air, process motor, process
fan, volume control dampers at outlet, desiccant rotor drive assembly, reactivation
electrical heaters, inlet pre-filters for reactivation air, regeneration motors & fan,
thermostats, automatic built-in electrical panel with humidistat, total frame & panels
powder coated and supplied with lifting lugs.
PERFORMANCE REQUIREMENTS
1. Type : Solid desiccant based, rotating wheel type
dehumidifier
2. Capacity : ≥ 1200 CMH @ 20°C and ρ= 1.2 kg/m3 standard
air conditions.
3. Moisture removal rate required : ≥ 10.1 kg/hr.

composition.
10. Outlet hose/duct size : φ 220 mm (approx.) and duct shall be
provided
in horizontal axis.
11. Max. Noise level unducted : ≤ 85 dBA
REQUIRED FEATURES
The dehumidifier unit shall be equipped with :
(i) Hours run counter to monitor the number of hours the system is operational.
(ii) Blocked filter alarms.
(iii) Rotor stopped alarms
(iv) Humidity control system with alarm and display.
(iv) Replaceable process and reactivation filters.
(v) Face damper of low leakage design and are operated by a proportional
actuator.
(vi) Total frame and panels shall be powder coated in white colour as a clean
room installation requirements. The total unit shall have very good aesthetic
appealing finish.
(vii) The unit should have it’s own structural steel skid with adjustable feet and the
unit
shall be able to move using forklift or by lifting lugs.
III. ELECTRICAL REQUIREMNTS
(i) Control panel shall be in-biult with the unit. It shall be factory mounted and
wired with fan motors/MCBs, auxiliary controls, over-load protectors,etc. Starting
and stopping of the unit shall be sequenced by a humidistat sensor.
Manual off-auto switch shall also be provided on dehumidifier panel. All switch
gear of either Siemens , L&T or similar Reputed make only. Pre-wired &
pre-tested electrical control board ready for connection to mains.
(ii) IEC protective class for unit : IP 44
(iii) IEC protective class for electrical panel : IP 54
(iv) Winding insulation standard for fan motor
and drive motor : Class F
(v) High temperature cut-out : 140 ± 5 °C, adjustable from 130°C
to
170°C
(vi) Amperage rating for remote on relay and
alarm contacts : 5A, 250 VAC (Max.)
IV. UTILITIES REQUIREMENTS
(a) Total Electrical power requirements : ≤ 24 kW
(b) Electrical ratings : The unit shall be suitable to either
230V AC, 50 Hz single phase or
440V AC, 50Hz, 3-phase electrical
supply.

OPTIONAL REQUIREMENTS

(i) DH unit with By-pass dampers of low leakage design and are operated by
proportional actuator to provide upto 100% bypass capabilities.
(ii) Stainless steel metal casing instead of powder coated steel casing.
ACCEPTANCE TESTS
Vendor/supplier should carry out acceptance tests which will be witnessed by
our Engineers at vendor’s site prior to shipments.
WARRANTY
The supplier should provide a minimum of 1 year warranty for poor performance,
workmanship, material or components defects.
STATEMENTS AND REFERENCES
(i) Vendor should provide compliance statements in point-wise for our
specifications along with quote.
(ii) Deviations if any from our specifications should be clearly mentioned with
merits.
(iii) Product catalog/leaflet in original/xerox copy shall be enclosed along with
quote.
(iv) Vendor should provide product heritage for similar kind of units supplied
elsewhere and shall also furnish customer’s name, address with Tel No.
and fax. No. if any along with quote.
