FRONTIERS IN THE ECONOMIC ANALYSIS OF CONTRACT LAW Call for Papers
June 4/5, 2009 The aim of the workshop is to allow for in-depth scientific interactions between junior and senior researchers interested in applying advanced economic methodology to contract law. Up to 8 selected papers will be presented in one-paper sessions with two invited discussants assigned to each. Discussants include: Yeon-Koo Che (Columbia) Christoph Engel (Max-Planck, Bonn) Aaron Edlin (Berkeley) Werner Gueth (Max-Planck, Jena) Francine Lafontaine (Michigan) Robert E. Scott (Columbia) Alan Schwartz (Yale) Urs Schweizer (Bonn) Gerhard Wagner (Bonn). We welcome submissions in the area of contract law based on formal modelling, microeconometric analysis and/or experiments. Scholars interested in participating are invited to submit papers by March 15, 2009 and will be notified of the acceptance decision by April 27, 2009. The organizers will cover travel and hotel expenses for participants. There is no publication commitment associated with the workshop nor is published work eligible.
