For more information, call 534-0000. 59 Courts-martial results U.S. v. Pvt. Joel T. Gibbs March 24, pursuant to his pleas, the military judge sitting as a special courtmartial convicted Pvt. Joel T. Gibbs, C Battery, 1st Battalion, 56th ADA Regiment, 6th ADA Brigade of wrongful distribution and use of cocaine, wrongful possession of hydrocodone, and attempted distribution of cocaine. The military judge sentenced Gibbs to be confined for three months, to forfeit $785 pay per month for three months, and to be reduced to the grade of private (E-1). intoxicated. This offense was committed on the Fort Bliss military reservation March 3. The federal magistrate judge sentenced him to thirty-six months of supervised probation. Speights subsequently violated the terms of his probation, and on March 22 the federal magistrate judge sentenced Speights to confinement for 180 days. Archaeology exhibit The El Paso Museum of Archaeology announces Archaeology Day Camps June 6 through 9 and June 13 through 16 9 a.m. to noon. Join them at the El Paso Museum of Archaeology for either of the four-day sessions for fun and learning about archaeology. Learn about the science of archaeology, its tools, and the prehistory of the Americas from the Ice Age to European contact. They will focus on the prehistory of the El Paso region in particular and the Indian populations that live near us. This camp is offered for children 10 and up. Gonzalez, Jr. May 5, Johnny Edward Gonzalez Jr. pled guilty to driving while intoxicated and possession of an alcoholic beverage in a motor vehicle. These offenses were committed on the Fort Bliss military reservation Oct. 2, 2004. The federal magistrate judge sentenced Gonzalez to one year of supervised probation, a $500 fine, 80 hours of community service and a $10 special assessment for DWI, and a $50 fine and $5 special assessment for possession of an alcoholic beverage in a motor vehicle. Subsequently, Gonzalez violated the terms of his supervised probation. Joe Robert Moore Feb. 28, Joe Robert Moore pled guilty to the charge of theft of government property. The federal magistrate judge sentenced him to 36 months of supervised probation. Moore subsequently violated the terms of his probation, and March 28, the federal magistrate judge sentenced Moore to confinement for 90 days. Big Brothers/Sisters Big Brothers Big Sisters is hosting its 4th annual Big Magic Breakfast fundraiser May 24. They invite you to be a table ambassador for this event. Table ambassadors agree to host a table and invite seven guests to this free breakfast. You and your guests will hear first hand about our bigs and littles and the impact Big Brothers Big Sisters has made on their lives. Everyone will be asked to consider making a contribution. Branden Shane Speights June 28, 2005, Branden Shane Speights pled guilty to driving while Initiatives.
