Asset Types
Assets are all of the items saved in your ePortfolio including items you create in PebblePad and files you upload. All of your assets are saved in your Personal Asset Store which is part of the ePortfolio system. Assets in the store can be copied, shared, reviewed, edited or deleted. When you create items in PebblePad they are private and secure until you choose to share them with others or publish them to a Gateway. Sharing and publishing applies to each individual asset, permissions to view do not extend to other assets in your asset store unless they are also shared. Where an asset, such as a Webfolios or blog is shared all of the items linked to the asset are also shared so you do not have to choose in item to share a collection you have built. The main asset types in PebblePad are: Abilities – things you can do Achievements – things you are proud of Action plans – things you are working towards Blog – an online journal Experiences – things that have happened to you Meetings – meeting you have had Thoughts things you are thinking or reflecting about Webfolio – presentational websites The following pages describe each of these items and how you can create them in PebblePad.
