Contact the business on the phone or in person. Ask to speak with the person who would make decisions about placing advertising. Clearly identify yourself and your position (I’m Jane Doe and I am on the yearbook staff at St. Pius X Catholic High School) Ask if they would be interested in supporting St. Pius X Catholic High School and the yearbook production. If they AGREE… Tell them that you can get the information to them in several ways – 1. you can tell them over the phone; 2. you can fax the info to them (get the number!); 3. – you could email it (get their email); 4. you can deliver it to them in person. If they DO NOT WANT AN AD… Thank them for considering it and BE nice! ☺ Look in the yearbook advertising box for your blank forms Check the SPX website for pricing and a sample form Make sure to note your contacts on the sheets on the bulletin board at school so others will know who you’ve contacted.
