Award for Citibank co-branded cards in the Czech Republic The Shell MasterCard from Citibank a.s. was awarded the prize for the Best 2006 Financial Product by the company Computer Press. The card won from among all financial products that were introduced to the Czech market last year. The company Computer Press has recognized Citibank credit card as the best “co-branded card designed for all those who demand more than just a mere standard.“ Following its earlier recognition by the MasterCard company as the best co-branded card from the point of view of benefits for the client, this award gives the Shell MasterCard credit card from Citibank a second success in four months since its sale has begun. “We are pleased and honoured to have been given the recognition for the Shell MasterCard from Citibank a.s. Features of the awarded card: Shell MasterCard from Citibank a.s.. This card was first introduced in November 2006 and, it is issued by Citibank in conjunction with the Shell gas filling stations operator. Holders of cards issued before January 31, 2007 may, within the first two months after the card’s issue, receive a bonus worth 6% of the price paid for each liter of car fuel bought at Shell gas filling stations in the Czech Republic and, also, a 2% discount on every other purchases made by the card in the Czech Republic and abroad as well.
