					    The Seventh International Conference on Computational Physics

The 7th International Conference on Computational Physics (ICCP7) will be held in
Beijing on May 17-20, 2010. The conference aims to bring together researchers,
scientists, engineers, and students to exchange and share their experiences, new ideas,
and research results about all aspects of computational physics, and discuss the
practical challenges encountered and the solutions adopted.

ICCP7 is organized by the Institute of Applied Physics and Computational
Mathematics (IAPCM). We expect it will provide an inspiring and productive forum
to exchange and stimulate ideas from different disciplines, to offer a great opportunity
to meet old friends and colleagues, and to make new ones from different parts of the
world, and to learn about the recent developments in frontiers of theory and numerical
methods in computational physics.

The meeting will focus on key aspects of computational physics, theory, numerical
methods, and applications. Topics include, but are not limited to, the following areas
of interest:

1. Up-to-date applications of computational physics. In particular:
    Statistical and Non-linear Physics, including Physics of Complex Systems,
     Lattice Gases and Cellular Automata
    Condensed Matter Physics, including Materials Physics, New Materials Design
     and Nanotechnology, Computing in Crystallography, Quantum Effects and
     Interactions, etc.
    Fluid Dynamics and Molecular Dynamics, Plasma Physics
    Cosmology and Astrophysics, including Lattice Field Theories, QCD, QED,
     Nuclear and Particle Physics
    Computational Quantum Dynamics, Quantum Computation
    Biophysics, Bioinformatics and Further and Future Interdisciplinary Applications
2. Computer environments for computational physics
    Computer architectures
   Parallel systems (hardware, software, methods of programming)
   Supercomputing (computers and centres) in the academic environment of Europe,
    USA and Far East
   Visualization
   Network Architecture, Grid
   Data Mining and Processing, Massive Data Management
3. Computational Physics Education , Computing Technology, Society and Security.

next year’s ICCP7. We will also invite other famous scientists to join the meeting and
