Saks Incorporated expects our vendors to visit our website at www.saksincorporated.com under “Vendor Relations/Parisian” on a regular basis to keep updated on new initiatives as well as FLOW Vendor Standards changes. Here is summary of our most recent changes or future decisions. Please ensure that your organization is up to date to prevent system or processing issues. Thank you for your partnership.
Saks Incorporated Vendor Event
The following document was loaded to the Parisian website: • Web Tendering Cutoff Alert - Wednesday, February 21, 2007, will be the last day to web tender Parisian shipments with a February 23, 2007 "Ready Date" or earlier on our Saks Incorporated web portal. For Parisian purchase orders with a "Ready Date of February 24, 2007 and forward, please contact Belk Transportation Services. (See vendor notification for full details.) This web tendering change is due to the upcoming completion of Saks Incorporated’s transportation transition services contract, part of our October 2006 Parisian sale transaction to Belk. If you have questions regarding these Parisian transportation changes, please contact the Belk Transportation Services Department at (803) 754-6338 or e-mail transportation_services@belk.com. The following documents were updated and loaded to the Parisian web page: • • FLOW Manual – Updated Accounts Payable contacts due to recent department restructuring. NOTE: The “Department Store Group” section of our Saks Inc. web page has been renamed to “Parisian” due to their recent sale to Belk. Please update any hyperlinks or short cuts you have established. Parisian will continue to require our Saks Inc. FLOW Vendor Standards until we complete their transition to Belk. That is expected sometime in midSpring 2007.

Saks Incorporated FLOW Vendor Standards Manual - Swim hanger required date moved up to November 1, 2006 from February 1, 2007 due to merchant request to include all 2007 swim receipts. Saks Incorporated FLOW Vendor Standards Manual - Updated FLOW Contacts and Parisian return center information. Added clarification to the RTW and Men’s Size to Color coding program and the Zone 1 requirement for Intimate Apparel (effective Feb. 1, 2007). Added new swimwear hangers to the VICS Hanger program (effective Feb. 1, 2007). Added graphics for the Saks Incorporated towel folding program (required as of July 1, 2006). Noted that Carson’s will still require FLOW vendor standards until Bon-Ton notifies vendors. The following documents were updated and loaded to the Saks Department Store website: • EDI Mapping and Store Listings – Revised VAN account/id to VANS/HAMAIL for all trading partners. Updated OPCO store listings. • Saks Incorporated Shipping and Routing Instructions – All references to Proffitt’s/McRae’s deleted since as of May 15, 2006, we have completed our transition agreement with Belk and no longer process Proffitt’s merchandise in our Steele, Alabama DC. Routing for DE (Delaware) to our Steele, AL, Green Bay, WI, Ankeny, IA, and Rockford, IL distribution centers has been changed from NDLO to Yellow Freight.
