Actuarial Studies and Quantitative Finance
Application for Admittance to Quantitative Track
Students may be admitted provisionally to the quantitative finance track of the
Actuarial Studies and Quantitative Finance Certificate Program (Program) upon
completion of Calculus I with a grade of B or better or documented completion of the
advanced placement calculus AB exam with a score of 4 or 5. Students admitted
provisionally are required to complete Calculus II and Calculus III with a grade of B
or better or they will be dropped from the program.
Admittance in Full Standing
Students who have completed Calculus I, II and III with grades of B or better are
eligible to apply for participation in the Program in full standing. Upon acceptance,
the participant is required to maintain a GPA of 3.0 or better in coursework required
for the Program.
Complete the form below and take this form, a copy of your transcript and
documentation of your advanced placement exam score (if applicable) to meet with
a Program advisor to map out your required coursework and determine and verify
the feasibility of completing the program. Your advisor will then submit the
application to the Program committee for approval.
