      Next to each emergency you have identified estimate the probability of it occurring with 5 being
       high probability and one being low probability.


      Complete the business impact analysis as outlined in the Mind Your Business guidebook.

      Who is in charge of your evacuation plan?

      Date when the plan was last tested?

      What are your evacuation points?


      What are your alternate evacuation points?


      Date and detail the most recent staff training in basic emergency preparedness?


      Detail the process for informing visitors of your evacuation procedures.

      Who is your business insured with and what are the contact details and policy number?
      What are the arrangements to ensure your business records are backed up and kept safe?
      What are your key business outputs?




      Consider how the medium to high probability emergencies identified in your assessment of risk
       could impact on each step in the process to delivering your outcomes?


5. People

      How many staff and other people could be at your site in an emergency?
      How will you find out about the condition of staff that are off site?

      What are some of the people issues you will need to be prepared for if an emergency happens
       during business hours? And what plans do you have in place to manage each issue?




      What are some of the people issues you will need to be prepared for if the emergency happens
       out of business hours?




6. Command, Control and Coordination

      Who will be in command (the person who will lead) and what are their contact details?
      Who will be in charge of operations (has responsibility for whatever the business does in an
       emergency to respond to the needs of staff, customers, clients and suppliers) and what are their
       contact details?

      Who will be in charge of logistics (the person to get the resources operations needs to function)
       and what are their contact details?

      Who will be in charge of finances (the person who will track all activities and costs) and what are
       their contact details?

      Who will be in charge of information and planning (gathers facts and keeps everyone in the
       know) and what are their contact details?
