VERICO Mortgage Calculator This is a simple calculator that will enable you to use your Blackberry to quickly and easily calculate the mortgage payment and outstanding balance at term on any mortgage loan amount. The calculator includes Monthly, SemiMonthly, Bi-Weekly, and Weekly payment options. It also enables you to select up to a 35 year amortization period and input any interest rate amount. All calculations are based on semi-annual compounding at end of period.
VERICO Income Qualifier This calculator is a quick and easy tool to pre-qualify your customers for a loan. Input their household income, the rate, taxes and condo fees and determine the maximum loan your customer qualifies for. Then select the down payment option, ranging from 50% to 5% down, and instantly calculate the maximum home price, and down payment amount required – as well as the mortgage default insurance fee. You can change the GDS or TDS ratios to modify the calculations for differing lender underwriting criteria. The calculator qualifies using a 25 year amortization and monthly payments. VERICO Financial Feature Sheet Great for mortgage brokers and Realtors! This calculator enables you to put in the list price of any residential property and quickly calculate the mortgage, down payment,
monthly payments and mortgage insurance fee. It calculates the household income required to qualify for the mortgage needed to purchase the input property listing. VERICO Basic Underwriter This calculator enable users to input the property price, down payment and the borrowers income and expenses to calculate the GDSR and TDSR. Change amortization and rates to test debt service ratios. NOTES: All calculations are based on semi annual compounding of the stated annual rate in arrears. Simply click the scroll wheel down on the side of the blackberry device and select “Change Options”. A menu display will appear.
INSTALLING THE VERICO BLACKBERRY MORTGAGE CALCULATORS There are two methods to install the VERICO calculators on your Blackberry handheld device. The first, and easiest, method is to download the application directly to your Blackberry using the Blackberry Internet Browser. The other option is to download the calculator application to the hard drive of your PC and then use the Blackberry Desktop Manager Software to load the application into your handheld device. 1. Install Using The Blackberry Wireless Internet Browser a. b. c. d. e. f. g. Using your Blackberry handheld device select the “Internet Browser” function. Click on the Scroll Wheel to bring up the menu bar. Select “Go To” Enter the following Internet Address http://legacy.verico.ca/blackberry/mortgagecalculator/mortgagecalculator.jad Click “OK” You will be present with a dialogue box asking you if you wish to download the application. Click “OK”
The VERICO calculator tools should download and setup automatically on your Blackberry. Press the escape key on your Blackberry device until you exit to the main screen. Look for the new calculator icon with the “V”.

Start your BlackBerry Desktop Manager and connect your BlackBerry device to your computer; and click [Application Loader] icon on your Desktop Manager dialog.

The Application Loader Wizard screen will be displayed, and select [Next] button until you see the screen below, the screen shot might be different from the screen you see, it depends on your device and your BlackBerry Desktop Manager; and then click [Add] button to add new installation file.
The installed application list will be different from your screen, which depends on your device version, applications and your desktop manager.

After you click the [Add] button, you’ll see the Open common dialog, and select the ALX file from your installation folder.

Select the ALX file which you want to install to your device and click [Open] button.

You’ll see the installation information from your BlackBerry Desktop Manager.
The new application will be installed into your BlackBerry device.
10. Click [Next] until the installation is finished, and then you’ll see the new Mortgage Calculator icon appears on your BlackBerry main screen. Finally you can launch your [Verico Mortgage Calculator] application
