Dear valued customer,

Schneider Electric Australia is moving towards the implementation of a new Information System.
Our new system will be deployed across all our sites in Australia and is the Global Core Business
Information System for Schneider Electric. It will integrate all business processes and systems
under one core framework. It is based on SAP for Sales, Customer Relationship Management,
Services, Equipment and Projects, Manufacturing, Logistics, Purchasing, Quality and Finance.

We are currently in the final implementation stages and set to ‘go live’ on 6 October, 2009.
In order to move from our current legacy systems to SAP, it is essential for Schneider Electric
Australia to prepare our customers, staff and systems for this important change over.

Schneider Express will not be migrating into the SAP system and as a result will be turned off
at 2.00pm on 18 September. At this time a message will be posted advising that the site is no
longer available and to contact our Customer Service staff via phone, fax or e-mail. The site will
also contain a copy of this communication letter being sent to all Schneider Express customers.
Information will also be replicated on our website that also has a link to the Schneider Express
login.

A new self-service tool with additional functionality and features to enhance your experience
is being developed and is expected to be available soon. The details surrounding this new
enhanced self-service tool will be provided to you in due course.

We will continue to update you on our progress toward implementation and would like to take this
opportunity to thank you for your continued support.
