IVECO APPOINTS GIORGIO GALLIA AS NEW MANAGING DIRECTOR

             st
Effective 1 September, Iveco Trucks Australia is pleased to announce the appointment
of Giorgio Gallia as Managing Director. Mr Gallia brings more than 20 years of
management and automotive experience to the role, particularly from his most recent
position as Director of Purchasing, Italy for FIAT Group Automobiles.

He has varied international experience, having worked in the US, UK, Spain, France and
Italy, and also as Managing Director of a major parts supplier to all major car and truck
makers including the FIAT Group.

Mr Gallia will replace Jorge Garcia, who, after 18 months in the Managing Director’s role,
has been reassigned to a position in France. Iveco Trucks Australia would like to thank
Mr Garcia for his contribution and wish him all the best for his new challenge.

Mr Gallia said: “I’ve long been an admirer of Iveco and have watched with interest the
growth of its business internationally and its fantastic product range in Australia. I’m
delighted to join Iveco and look forward to the challenge of further strengthening our
market position by developing a strong understanding of our customers’ needs, and by
providing the very best products and customer service.”

He added: “We have many exciting and challenging projects ahead. It is important for
Iveco to continue innovating to meet the expectations of our customers and develop our
product range in this unique and highly competitive market.”

“Following recent improvements, our range is now very competitive and most importantly,
built to withstand the tough Australian conditions. Our key strategic direction is to remain
very close to the customer.”

“We have both the range and the desire to become the truck manufacturing company of
choice for Australians. Our global resources and comprehensive product range, including
Euro 5 emission compliant trucks and gas and hybrid technologies will enable us to
continue innovating and service our customer needs now and in years to come.”

“It’s also exciting to work for an organisation with such a strong local presence via its
engineering and manufacturing plant in Dandenong,” he concluded.
