     below :
Most of my life I have lived in port Glasgow, a Small town
in Scotland on the river Clyde. I did not leave port Glasgow
until I had finished my education .The town has a cold climate
because it is on the West Coast of Scotland. The buildings in
port Glasgow are very high because the land is very expensive,
Also , because in winter there is a lot of rain and high winds , all
of the houses are built of stone .Because many of the houses are
built on hills , the streets are steep and narrow .Few tourists
come to visit port Glasgow because it is not well-Known .
There are many shipyards in port Glasgow because the
town is situated on an important river and because the necessary
materials are available in that part of Scotland. When a boy
leaves school, he often goes to work in the shipyard, a young
man may still continue his education in the evening. Many of the
young women work in cloth factories because such work is easy
for women. Most people start work at about half past eight
because of the cold weather and dark mornings in winter.
Because of the cold weather, people usually wear heavy clothes
except for a few weeks in summer. Work in the shipyards
finishes every evening at five O’clock. When people get home
from work they usually want to eat immediately because they
are hungry after a day’s work.
