Discover your Green Thumbs Careers at the Royal Botanic Gardens Cranbourne Half-day program for students (years 10-12) and Careers Teachers Date: Wed 26 August Time: 9.30 am to 2.30pm Transport: School to organise Cost: Free Lunch: BYO This careers program will introduce students to the diversity of career options available within the fields of horticulture and conservation land management using the Royal Botanic Gardens Cranbourne as a case study. Students will be able to observe the work of different Botanic Gardens staff through a ‘Behind the Scenes’ tour of the nursery and works depot. Students will have the opportunity to talk to RBG staff and industry representatives. Participants should wear boots and clothing suitable for the outdoors, gloves will be supplied.
