Project Summary Description
This goal may be obtained by cooperating
After the excellent 4-years experience of the Local Neutral and interconnecting with common rules over
Access Point (L-NAP) of Trieste, where all the connections among all the internet providers of North-East Italy
different internet and intranet providers are locally managed, and Austria, followed by Slovenia and
avoiding very long national and international loops of network Croatia, and probably Hungaria (see possible
communications, the AA-NAP (Alpe Adria Neutral Access Point) combined action with the project Adria-
wants to extend the benefit of this organization to all the Alpe- Danubio) and other near countries.
Adria countries, by integrating all their internet communications,
to reach an added-value for high-speed transnational
communications in this part of Europe.
Problem example: Tarvisio - Villach via Internet: 1718 Kmeters
Why not 1000 Kilometers?
This is our Project Idea.
