How to promote your music on YouTube - Secret 1
Build a squeeze page for your band...this is something that a lot of music types have a problem doing
because it can be a little technical.
Basically you want to put a URL in your videos that sends the viewer to a page where you squeeze
their email address. A "squeeze" page.
You can do this very simply by downloading a free html editor from the Internet that makes building
web pages a lot like using Microsoft word! And recording a video that offers the viewer something
cool in return for their email.
Let’s go into this in more detail...
Viewer sees your video hosted on YouTube and wants some more info so clicks the link in
your description box.
This link leads to your squeeze page hosted on your own site on something like
www.yousite.com/sqeeze.
This page offers the visitors a free album or t-shirt in exchange for them entering their email
on the form provided. You could even use a video to offer the freebie as this converts very
well. You just need to get the embed code and paste it in your site.
Once you have the email you follow up with cool stuff about your band and offer something
for sale once in a while.
If your cool and offer a lot of value these people will fall in love with you...trust me!
How to promote your music on YouTube - Secret 2
I call this the chart sniper method =>
Basically you keep an eye on the record charts and as new songs become hot make a simple cover
version.
This should not take you more than an hour, don't be a perfectionist ;-)
Once you have uploaded your video put a link in the description box to your squeeze page and post
your video as a response on the main music video.
Nine times out of ten your response will be excepted in the first couple of days and you will start to
see a lot of traffic and email sign-ups.
Don't worry if the video owner does not allow your response because with all successful songs there
will be fans who post their own versions up. So you just find one of these unofficial videos with lots
of traffic and post it on there.
If you stay committed and do this once a day you'll start to see get an amazing amount of traffic to
your site and you fan numbers will explode!
Just get out there and HUSTLE.

Google search. There is tons of info out there and we're just focusing on tactics.

a couple of weeks. So to break that down if you have 30 people on your list now you could have
