       TASK ANALYSIS

       1. COMPUTER WORK
This task requires forward reaching across the desk and sitting for prolonged periods whilst using a keyboard
       (photograph 1).

                                                      Photo 1

       2. REPAIRING COMPUTERS
This task involves lifting computers from a desk onto a trolley to transport them to the repair room (photographs 2 &
3). It also involves gripping screwdrivers during repairs. It requires occasional lifting of computers from the floor in
confined spaces, which could cause the worker to lift with a bent back.

Often the IT worker will get into an awkward position to service a computer on site. Reaching across a desk may be
       necessary during repairs (photograph 4).
