					Conditions of entry
1. The walk is open to any age; persons aged under 16 must walk with an appropriate adult.

2. Dogs are allowed as long as they are kept strictly under control and on a lead.

3. The object is to complete the walk within 11 hours, starting at 9.00 am.

4. A list of checkpoint opening and closing times will be included in the final

closing time of the next checkpoint will be asked to retire.

5. Each walker must carry the minimum equipment as follows: a. Either 1:25000 OS Explorer Map –

Chesterfield & Alfreton, sheet no 269, or 1:50000 sheet numbers 119, Buxton & Matlock and sheet

number 120. Mansfield & Worksop. Both maps 119 & 120 cover the whole route b. Suitable
