ASTAHAYA CREW

              DARREL HEARNE AND MICHELLE MOLLER

Darrel grew up in sunny South Africa, where he lived and worked until a few years back, when he decided to ‘get a life’,
and go sailing. He holds degrees in acturial science, accounting and company law, none of which are any use at all to
him as a sailor, but they make for interesting conversation. He has lived and sailed in the British Virgin Islands for the
past five years, captaining a variety of vessels in the charter industry. A seasoned sailor, he has his Yachtmaster Ocean
skipper’s ticket. Darrel is also a keen watersports fan, and loves to dive, ski, wakeboard, windsurf and kitesurf. He loves
any excuse to get out on the water, and would be more than happy to assist you with any of the water-sport activities offered on the
boat.
Michelle Moller is an energetic and fun-loving lady, with a thrill for new adventures and an all-around love for life. This
highly entertaining person hails from the surfing town of Durban in South Africa and enjoys combining her twin loves
of sailing and cooking. Her sailing interests have led her to sail around most of the African east coast, as well as and
numerous European countries. She has also completed two seasons in the Caribbean as chef onboard the sailing
             catamaran Swish.

Michelle’s extensive travels have allowed her to sample and perfect a variety of exotic dishes that she brings together in a fusion of
taste onboard ASTAHAYA that will allow you to relax and indulge your senses. With her existing industry experience she has further
refined her cooking skills by attending the world-renowned Christina Martin School of Cooking, and her menus revolve around healthy,
fresh ingredients, incorporating the local flavors of the islands. In addition to her experience in chartering and knowledge of food
Michelle’s upbeat and outgoing personality will help to make your vacation a memorable experience.

Darrel and Michelle are a team that exude excellence, and will do everything in their power to make your Caribbean vacation perfect.
Based on your preference you will have the option of a fully crewed luxury charter with a captain and chef to attend to your service
and catering needs. Alternatively you may choose a captain only charter to enjoy a more hands on experience. Please ask for further
crew details and charter rates based on these two options.
