   AT THE MUNICIPAL COURT HOUSE, Susie B Boyce Meeting Room

REGISTRATIONS FOR ALL CAMPS WILL BE ACCEPTED BY MAILING, ONLINE CREDIT CARD REGISTRATION OR
                DROP OFF AT THE RECREATION OFFICE AFTER APRIL. DATE TBA.




                         SUMMER PLAYGROUND DROP-IN CAMP

This drop-in type camp is open to Warren Residents only going into Kindergarten to 8th grade from June 30-
Aug. 1. There is a one-time registration fee of $25 per child for the 5 weeks. Camp will be held under the
pavilion behind the Municipal Complex utilizing the fields, basketball court, playground and tennis court.
Parents may drop their child off (sign in) anytime between 9am and 3pm Monday –Thursday. Sign out by 3pm.
On Friday parents may drop of their child off at Warrenbrook pool for swimming fun for $3 from 12:15 to 3pm.
Camp staff will oversee campers. Camp at the pavilion will be closed on Friday. If it rains hard or storms camp
will be closed, parents would be required to pick up their children if it should happen during camp hours. Use
the hotline number to see if camp is cancelled in the mornings after 7am 908-753-8000 ext 430 or check

        We have certified teachers and college students who are very experienced, running our new and exciting
camp this year. Children will be able to connect with classmates, play games, arts n crafts, board games, sports
and participate in special events. Plan on a family picnic with fun and games July 31. Each family brings an

                          US SPORTS INSTITUTE MULTI SPORTS CAMP

Experience over 15 different sports from around the world with the US Sports Institute. All activities will take
place in an atmosphere which promotes good sportsmanship teamwork and most of all fun. Campers will
receive Technical Instruction in each sport then experience the sport in a realistic game situation as well as
participating in the exciting USSI World Cup Competition. Campers will receive a t-shirt and certificate. This is
the only sports camp truly dedicated to children of all sporting abilities.

                    US SPORTS INSTITUTE SPORTS SQUIRTS PROGRAM

The Sport Squirts program introduces children aged 3 to 5 to a variety of sports such as Soccer, T-ball,
Basketball, Lacrosse and Hockey, all taking place in a safe structured environment ensuring learning is taking
place. Activities are designed to evoke a child’s imagination in which they can Find Nemo, send Shrek into a
spin or capture Jellyfish with Sponge Bob Square Pants. All activities promote hand-eye coordination,
movement and balance and most importantly Fun, Fun, Fun.

                  US SPORTS INSTITUTE BEGINNERS FUN GOLF CLINIC

Using a revolutionary new system, the USSI Golf clinic is the ideal way to introduce youngsters to the game of
Golf. Children will learn all the basic golf techniques such as the swing, grip and ball striking using unique and
fun training methods as well as doing team challenges and playing in our US Open Competition. Children will
experience greater success using the larger balls and club heads allowing them to strike the ball more
consistently and increase their confidence which will encourage them to continue to enjoy the game of Golf.

                                  COMPUTER CREATIONS CAMP
Video Game Creation, Digital Animation and 3-D Architectural Design for kids! Unleash your child’s creative
genius in the technology day camp program where learning is fun, hands-on, self paced and always interest
based. All camper created video games, movies and designs will be uploaded to the web for easy sharing with
friends and family throughout the world. Camp size is limited to 20 and each student works on a dedicated
laptop. Campers may attend multiple sessions and have unique experiences. Held at the Elks Club on Bardy
Rd.

SUPER SCIENCE CAMP: ROBOTICS, LEGO STAR WARS & MOTORIZED MACHINES
Lego enthusiasts have fun building your favorite adventure from a Star Wars galaxy that is far, far away with an
entire new collection from Lego. The most recent additions: Naboo N-1 fighter, Rogue Shadow, Republic
Cruiser, Trade Federation MTT, Jedi Star Fighter with hyperdrive, General Grevious Star Fighter, AT-AP
Walker, Hailfire Droid and Spider Droid, Clone turbo Tank, Star Destroyer , T-Wing Fighter, Imperial Landing
Craft and more projects. Students will also build a wide assortment of motorized Lego and Robotix Machines.
They will create their own projects \that are designed to illustrate science concepts. Learning will focus on
concepts related to simple machines. All students will take home a Lego project. Students will not build all
models offered. Camp size limited to 25. Held in ALT School Gym.

                                       DINOSAURS, FOSSILS AND MORE…CAMP

Astronomy Day #1-STARLAB Learn about the night sky in the portable planetarium & BLAST OFF to the
SOLAR SYSTEM We'll learn about our solar system and then shoot off rockets to out of this world locations;
Sharks Day #2-PREHISTORIC SHARKS Feel, touch and hold fossil shark teeth from the biggest shark that
ever lived, the Megalodon. Clean marine fossil material that is 20 million years old & FOSSIL DIG. Find and
take home shark and fish teeth, Stingray mouth plates, coral and other underwater wonders; Dinosaurs Day #3-
THE LITTLE AL DINOSAUR. Become a Paleontologist for the day. Hold a real dinosaur egg, bones &
footprints. Then we'll work as a team and rebuild the Allosaurus Dinosaur & EXTINCTION We'll explore the
one of the reasons why the dinosaurs disappeared. We'll make and erupt a big volcano. Camp size limited to 30.

Sensational Week of Science II
Join us for a fun-filled week of science experiments, crazy chemical reactions and cool hands-on projects. This
week of Science Smorgasbord includes topics like: Rocketry & Flight, Mad Machines, Earth’s Amazing
Wonders, Survival! Predators & Prey & Shake it Up. Children will have loads of fun learning about outer-
space, build their own rockets, create their own mini-sonic race car and much, much More!. They will also get
a chance to investigate the basics of geology, volcanoes and the wonders of nature. All students will witness a
thrilling outdoor rocket launch. Lastly, children will enjoy taking household items and mixing them up and
learning how to make things bubble, fiz, pop and creating totally radical reactions. Camp size limited to 25.
Held in the ALT School All Purpose Room.

Tennis Lessons will be offered by veteran area instructor, Mr. Steve Levin. These 6 week instructional courses
are designed to teach the fundamentals of tennis in a fun atmosphere. Maximum # of 6 students per instructor.
Those classes canceled due to inclement weather will be made up on Thursdays of the same week at the
same time. Each student must contribute one unopened can of tennis balls at the first class, bring their own
racquet and wear sneakers. Students will be grouped based upon age and ability. Camp sized limited to 12.
Held at Greenwood Meadows Tennis Court.
