HDFC Bank Limited (HDFC Bank) is a leading private sector bank and financial services institution in India. It offers
a comprehensive range of commercial and transactional banking services and treasury products to wholesale and
retail customers. The bank operates a diversified network of 1,506 branches as well as 3,573 networked ATMs
spanned across 635 cities in India. Its ATM network is accessible for all domestic and international
Visa/MasterCard, Visa Electron/Maestro, Plus/Cirrus and American Express Credit/Charge cardholders. HDFC
Bank employs 52,687 people.
The bank also operates two subsidiaries: HDFC Securities Limited (HSL) and HDB Financial Services Limited
(HDBFS). HSL is principally engaged in providing brokerage services through the Internet and other channels.
HDBFS is a non-deposit taking non-bank finance company (NBFC).
The bank's operations are organized under three reportable segments, namely, Wholesale Banking, Retail Banking
and Treasury. HDFC Bank, through its Wholesale Banking segment, offers a range of commercial and
transactional banking services, including trade services, working capital finance, transactional services, cash
management and others
