PRODUCTION COORDINATOR JOB DESCRIPTION JOB TITLE: Production Coordinator RESPONSIBLE TO: Production Manager Overall Purpose The Production Coordinator leads the manufacture of Quest’s Point of Sale terminals and coordinates the day to day activities within the production area. The scope of work to be performed will consist of, and is not limited to, the following: Key Duties / Responsibilities • Review customer orders and schedule production time based on workload and available materials. • Ensure that all customer orders are completed in the required time frame. • Supervise manufacturing employees and schedule working times • Allocate tasks to manufacturing employees • Ensure that employees are properly trained in the correct manufacturing procedures and equipment operation. • Ensure that the Quality of the finished product is to required standard. • Create and Maintain Procedures / Work Instructions for use by production staff. • Maintain a clean and safe working environment. Required Competencies • Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines. • Ability to work in a team based environment. • Time management. • Computers skills. • Excellent Communication and Inter-personnel skills. Other Duties • Comply with all company policies. • Understand and implement Quality control measures to products and processes. • Identify and document suggestions for improvements and enhancements to systems and processors with the goal to increase effectiveness and productivity. • Other duties as instructed by the Production Manager.
