Mornington Peninsula Shire - Foreshore Advisory Groups (Expressions of Interest) To assist the Shire in the management of foreshore reserves, Advisory Groups are appointed from locally interested community representatives. Advisory Groups assist the Shire in making future management decisions by sharing valuable local knowledge and history. They act as a key link for community consultation and advice on issues related to the management, care, and protection of the foreshore reserves. Expressions of Interest are being sought to fill vacancies on six existing Foreshore Advisory Groups: Mornington (2 positions) Portsea (2 positions) Mount Eliza (2 positions) Safety Beach (3 positions) Rosebud (1 position) Hastings (1 position) Interest and enthusiasm, a commitment to caring, protecting and maintaining a highly diverse range of uses, activities and interests of the foreshore reserve, and an approach that includes maximising community involvement and participation are highly desired.
