JESUS IS THE LIGHT OF THE WORLD
约翰福音 1：9－13
那光是真光，照亮一切
生在世上的人。10他在世
界，世界也是藉着他造
的，世界却不认识他。11
他到自己的地方来，自
己的人倒不接待他。12凡
接待他的，就是信他名
的人，他就赐他们权柄
，作 神的儿女。13这等
人不是从血气生的，不
是从情欲生的，也不是
从人意生的，乃是从
神生的。
JOHN 1：9－13
There was the true light, [even
the light] which lighteth every
man, coming into the world.
10He was in the world, and the

world was made through him,
and the world knew him not.
11He came unto his own, and

they that were his own
received him not. 12But as
many as received him, to them
gave he the right to become
children of God, [even] to them
that believe on his name:
13who were born, not of blood,

nor of the will of the flesh, nor
of the will of man, but of God.
      I. 世界上的光                    LIGHT OF THE WORLD
A。那光是真光 The Light was the True Light
     真，这个字，是指着四个方面
     True has a fourfold reference here.
     1。耶稣是真光因为祂是不欺骗的光。撒旦是一个光明的天
     使 哥林多前 11:14 “因为连撒但也装作光明的天使”, 但
是    他这这样作是为了欺骗。 基督跟世界里所有的假神在这
     方面就不一样。Christ, is the true light as the
     Undeceiving Light. Satan himself, we read “is
     transformed into a angel of light (2 Cor 11:14)
     but he appears as such only to deceive. But Christ
     is the true Light in contrast from all the false
     lights which are in the world.
2。耶稣是真光，不是那又微安又隐藏的旧约圣经里的仪式的光。
 Jesus is the true light, not like the dim and shaded lights of Old
 Testament ritual.
 希伯来书 8:5 他们供奉的事，本是天上事的形状和影像，正如
 摩西将要造帐幕的时候，蒙 神警戒他，说：“你要谨慎，作
 各样的物件都要照着在山上指示你的样式。”
 Hebrews 8:5 who serve [that which is] a copy and shadow of the heavenly
 things, even as Moses is warned [of God] when he is about to make the
 tabernacle: for, See, saith he, that thou make all things according to the
 pattern that was showed thee in the mount.
 希伯来书10:1 律法既是将来美事的影儿，不是本物的真像，
 总不能藉着每年常献一样的祭物，叫那近前来的人得以完全。
 Hebrews 10:1 For the law having a shadow of the good [things] to come, not
 the very image of the things, can never with the same sacrifices year by year,
 which they offer continually, make perfect them that draw nigh.
3。 耶稣是真光因为自发出自己的光。较小的光
只能借用别的光源反照它们借来的光。Christ is the
True Light because he shines forth His own light. Lesser lights
can only borrow other light sources and thereby reflect the light
they receive.

4. 耶稣是真光因为祂的光是卓越的。 太阳有阳
光，月亮反射太阳的光，星星和行星有它们自己
的光或是它们反照在它们银河里的太阳之光，但
耶稣是一切的光源。Jesus is the True Light because He is
the super eminent light. The sun has sunlight, the moon reflects
the sun’s light, stars and planets have their own light or reflect the
light of suns in their galaxies, but Jesus is the source of all light.
• 神先造了光 创世记 1:3 “神说：“要有
光”，就有了光”。
      God created light first Genesis 1:3 “And God said,
      Let there be light: and there was light.”

• 后造了光体 创世记 1:14 神说：“天上要
有光体，可以分昼夜，作记号，定节令、日子、
年岁，
Then He created the lights in the firmament of the heaven.
Genesis 1:14 And God said, Let there be lights in the
firmament of heaven to divide the day from the night; and let
them be for signs, and for seasons, and for days and years:
            B. 真光的服侍工作
             THE MINISTRY OF THE LIGHT
1. 在伊甸园里神的道是未犯罪之人的光。
  The Word was the Light of unfallen man in Paradise

在伊甸园里有两棵树：There were two trees planted in Eden:
      a）生命的树 创世记 2:9 “园子当中又 有生命树和分
      别善恶的树”。The tree of life. Genesis 2:9 “the
  tree of life also in the midst of the garden, and the tree of
  the knowledge of good and evil.”
      b）分别善恶树 创世记 2:17 只是分别善恶树上
      的果子，你不可吃，因为你吃的日子必定死。”
  Genesis 2:17 but of the tree of the knowledge of good and
  evil, thou shalt not eat of it: for in the day that thou eatest
  thereof thou shalt surely die.
2.神的道是神在旧约圣经里的选民之光
The Word was the Light of the chosen people.

• 在以色列人的历史中神不断的差遣先知为的
  是为光作见证 Throughout the history of Israel
   God continually sent them prophets to testify to the
   Light.约翰福音 1:8 他不是那光，乃是要为光作见
   证。John 1:8 He was not the light, but [came] that he
   might bear witness of the light.
以赛亚为被杀的羔羊作见证
Isaiah gave testimony to the sacrificed Lamb
耶利米书23:5-6
耶和华说：“日
子将到，我要给
大卫兴起一个公
义的苗裔；他必
掌王权，行事有
智慧，在地上施
行公平和公义。6
在他的日子，犹
大必得救，以色
列也安然居住。
他的名必称为‘
耶和华我们的义
’。”
Jeremiah 23:5-6
5Behold,    the days
come, saith Jehovah,
that I will raise unto
David a righteous
Branch, and he shall
reign as king and deal
wisely, and shall
execute justice and
righteousness in the

Judah shall be saved,
and Israel shall dwell
safely; and this is his
name whereby he shall

11Verily   I say unto you,

little in the kingdom of

光成了肉身。因为耶稣的光太亮，我们受不了看
 着祂，所以祂必须成肉身住在我们人的中间。
 The Light became incarnate. Too bright to be beheld, the Light of
 God curtained Himself in human flesh,

 启示録 21:23 那城内又不用日月光照，因有
 神的荣耀光照，又有羔羊为城的灯。
 For it is written that the heavenly city will not need sun nor moon
 to shine in it, because the Lamb is the light thereof (Rev. 21:23).
   C.真光照亮一切生在世上的人
          The True Light shines on all people
1) 祂的作为照亮所有的人 罗马书                        1:20 自从造天地以来，
 神的永能和神性是明明可知的，虽是眼不能见，但藉着所造
     之物就可以晓得，叫人无可推诿。His works shine on all
 people. Romans 1:20 For the invisible things of him since the
 creation of the world are clearly seen, being perceived through
 the things that are made, [even] his everlasting power and
 divinity; that they may be without excuse:

2) 我们的良心照亮所有的人 罗马书                          2:15 这是显出律法的
 功用刻在他们心里，他们是非之心同作见证，并且他们的思念
 互相较量，或以为是，或以为非。Our consciences shines on
 us.Romans 2:15 in that they show the work of the law written in
 their hearts, their conscience bearing witness therewith, and
 their thoughts one with another accusing or else excusing
 [them]);
3) 祂的话照亮所有的人 His Word shines on us.
  诗篇 33:6 诸天藉耶和华的命而造；万象藉他口
  中的气而成。Psalms 33:6 By the word of Jehovah
  were the heavens made, And all the host of them by the breath
  of his mouth.

4) 耶稣的见证照亮所有的人 Jesus’ testimony shines on all
   people 提摩太前书 2:5-6因为只有一位 神，在
   神和人中间，只有一位中保，乃是降世为人的
   基督耶稣。6他舍自己作万人的赎价，到了时候，
   这事必证明出来。1 Timothy 2:5-6 For there is one God,
  one mediator also between God and men, [himself] man,
  Christ Jesus, 6who gave himself a ransom for all; the testimony
  [to be borne] in its own times;
            II. 世界不接受这光
         The world’s rejection of the light

A. 世界是藉着祂造的
约翰福音 1:10 他在世界，世界也是藉着他造
的，世界却不认识他。
John 1:10 He was in the world, and the world was made
through him, and the world knew him not.
1。 世界是被祂
造的
歌罗西书 1:16-17
因为万有都是靠他
造的，无论是天上
的、地上的、能看
见的、不能看见的，
或是有位的、主治
的、执政的、掌权
的，一概都是藉着
他造的，又是为他
造的。17他在万有之
先，万有也靠他而
立。
               2。祂在世界里
                He was in the world
a) 道成了肉身 The Word became
flesh 约翰 1：14
道成了肉身，住在我们中间，充充满满地有
恩典，有真理。我们也见过他的荣光，正是
父独生子的荣光。
John 1:14
And the Word became flesh, and dwelt among us (and we
beheld his glory, glory as of the only begotten from the
Father), full of grace and truth.
b) 他到自己的地方去了，He went to His own
place 约翰福音 1:11 在旧约圣经里犹太人是神
的选民。 神藉着他们告诉我们祂将来藉着耶稣基
督要拯救罪人。John 1:11 He came unto his own,
and they that were his own received him not.
    连耶稣自己跟撒玛利亚妇女也说过，约翰
    4:22 你们所拜的，你们不知道；我们所拜的，我们
    知道，因为救恩是从犹太人出来的。
    Even Jesus when He spoke with the Samaritan
    women said John 4:22 Ye worship that which ye
    know not: we worship that which we know; for
    salvation is from the Jews.
希伯来书 11:17-19 亚
伯拉罕因着信，被试验

              B. 世界却不认识他
                    The world knew him not
约翰 1:10 他在世界，世界也是藉着他造的，
世界却不认识他。John 1:10 He was in the world, and
the world was made through him, and the world knew him not.

约翰 1：11 他到自己的地方来，自己的人倒不
接待他。 John 1:11 He came unto his own, and they that
were his own received him not.

约翰 1：5 光照在黑暗里，黑暗却不接受光。
John 1:5 And the light shineth in the darkness; and the
darkness apprehended it not.
约翰 3:19-21 光来到世间，世人因自己的行
为是恶的，不爱光倒爱黑暗，定他们的罪就是
在此。20凡作恶的便恨光，并不来就光，恐怕
他的行为受责备；21但行真理的必来就光，要
显明他所行的是靠 神而行。”
John 3:19-21 And this is the judgment, that the light is come
into the world, and men loved the darkness rather than the
light; for their works were evil. 20For every one that doeth evil
hateth the light, and cometh not to the light, lest his works
should be reproved. 21But he that doeth the truth cometh to
the light, that his works may be made manifest, that they
have been wrought in God.

          III. 作神的儿女的权柄
            Power to become children of God

约翰福音 1:12-13 凡接待他的，就是信他名的
人，他就赐他们权柄，作 神的儿女。13这等人
不是从血气生的，不是从情欲生的，也不是从人
意生的，乃是从 神生的。
John 1:12-13 But as many as received him, to them gave he
the right to become children of God, [even] to them that believe
on his name: 13who were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the
flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God.
约翰福音 9:1-11 耶稣过去的时候，看见一个人生来是瞎
眼的。2门徒问耶稣说：“拉比，这人生来是瞎眼的，是
谁犯了罪？是这人呢？是他父母呢？”3耶稣回答说：“
也不是这人犯了罪，也不是他父母犯了罪，是要在他身上
显出 神的作为来。4趁着白日，我们必须作那差我来者
的工；黑夜将到，就没有人能作工了。5我在世上的时候
，是世上的光。”6耶稣说了这话，就吐唾沫在地上，用
唾沫和泥抹在瞎子的眼睛上，7对他说：“你往西罗亚池
子里去洗。”（“西罗亚”翻出来，就是“奉差遣”）他
去一洗，回头就看见了。8他的邻舍和那素常见他是讨饭
的，就说：“这不是那从前坐着讨饭的人吗？”9有人说
：“是他。”又有人说：“不是，却是像他。”他自己说
：“是我。”10他们对他说：“你的眼睛是怎么开的呢？
”11他回答说：“有一个人名叫耶稣，他和泥抹我的眼睛
，对我说‘你往西罗亚池子去洗’；我去一洗，就看见了
。”
John 9:1-11
9:1And as he passed by, he saw a man blind from his birth. 2And his disciples
asked him, saying, Rabbi, who sinned, this man, or his parents, that he should
be born blind? 3Jesus answered, Neither did this man sin, nor his parents: but
that the works of God should be made manifest in him. 4We must work the works
of him that sent me, while it is day: the night cometh, when no man can work.
5When I am in the world, I am the light of the world. 6When he had thus spoken,

he spat on the ground, and made clay of the spittle, and anointed his eyes with
the clay, 7and said unto him, Go, wash in the pool of Siloam (which is by
interpretation, Sent). He went away therefore, and washed, and came seeing.
8The neighbors therefore, and they that saw him aforetime, that he was a

beggar, said, Is not this he that sat and begged? 9Others said, It is he: others
said, No, but he is like him. He said, I am [he]. 10They said therefore unto him,
How then were thine eyes opened? 11He answered, The man that is called
Jesus made clay, and anointed mine eyes, and said unto me, Go to Siloam, and
wash: so I went away and washed, and I received sight.
A. 耶稣行神跡来举例
   Jesus performs a miracle to make an example
瞎子能看见 A blind man can see.
       a) 这位瞎子生来就瞎眼了。The man was
       born blind.

       b) 他已经接受了他的情况. He accepted his
       situation.

       c) 他有信心得救。He has faith to be saved.
       （他用他的行为证明他的信心 he proved his
       faith by his actions）他顺从了耶稣的吩咐 He
       obeyed Christ’s commands。
            B. 耶稣解释祂行的神跡
            Jesus explained the miracle He preformed
1。门徒问耶稣说：“拉比，这人生来是瞎眼的，是谁
   犯了罪？是这人呢？是他父母呢？”His disciples
asked him, saying, Rabbi, who sinned, this man, or his parents,
that he      should be born blind?

      照着犹太人的想法若是人有病的话，原因一定是因
      为有 人犯了罪 According to the thinking of the
      Jews, if a person has a sickness it is because
      someone has sinned.
      罗马书 5:12 这就如罪是从一人入了世界，死又是从
      罪来的；于是死就临到众人，因为众人都犯了罪
      Romans 5:12Therefore, as through one man sin entered
      into the world, and death through sin; and so death passed
      unto all men, for that all sinned:
2。 耶稣回答说：“也不是这人犯了罪，也不是
他父母犯了罪，是要在他身上显出 神的作为来。
3Jesus  answered, Neither did this man sin, nor his parents: but
that the works of God should be made manifest in him.

               使 10:38 神怎样以圣灵和能力膏拿撒
               勒人耶稣，这 都是你们知道的。
               他周流四方，行善事，医好凡被魔
               鬼压制的人，因为 神与他同在。
                Acts 10:38 [even] Jesus of Nazareth, how God
         anointed him with the Holy Spirit and with power: who went
         about doing good, and healing all that were oppressed of
         the devil; for God was with him.
C. 耶稣行这神跡的重点是什么？What
        is the emphasis of the miracle that Jesus performed?

 1。趁着白日，我们必须作那差我来者的工；
  黑夜将到，就没有人能作工了。 4We must work
   the works of him that sent me, while it is day: the night
cometh, when no man can work

   2。我在世上的时候，是世上的光                                             5When   I am in
   the world, I am the light of the world

          马太福音 5:14你们是世上的光。
          城造在山上，是不能隐藏的
          Matthew 5:14 Ye are the light of the world. A city
          set on a hill cannot be hid.
马太福音 7:13-14
13“你们要进窄门。因为引到灭亡，那门是宽的，

路是大的，进去的人也多；14引到永生，那门是窄
的，路是小的，找着的人也少。”
Matthew 7:13-14
13Enter  ye in by the narrow gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that
leadeth to destruction, and many are they that enter in thereby. 14For narrow is
the gate, and straitened the way, that leadeth unto life, and few are they that
find it.
 罗马书 10:13                 因为“凡求告主名的，就必得
 救。”
Romans 10:13
for, Whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.
