Hill AFB staff will need to know how to operate the infrastructure, devices, etc. after the contractor leaves. Informal onsite training should be sufficient, to include installation, configuration, and administrative training, as well as any necessary documentation. (Sun's recent improvements in the performance of their hardware and software does not dictate the need for this many servers anymore) What are the part #s that you need for the ActivIdenity/ActivCard Software? Hill AFB will provide the ActiveIdentity/ActiveCard software. The 6 Sun Servers were recommended by Sun to cover the Sun Ray devices, room for future growth, and the SGD implementation. 4.11 SPECIAL QUALIFICATIONS You are requiring that all hardware and software be manufactured by Sun Microsystems and yet Comet laptops, Microsoft Windows 2003 Server OS, and ActivIdenity/ActivCard Software have other manufacturers. We do have reselling arrangements with the manufacturers of these. Should we include these products with our bid? If so, how many licenses of //Microsoft Windows 2003 Server OS, and ActivIdenity/ActivCard Software do you need quoted.
