G1Beat:

    A strong-arm robbery occurred in the area of Kennett Street & Bottleworks Lane in Silver
    Spring on Monday, 2/22 at 4:30 p.m. The suspects approached the adult male victim,
    surrounded him, and searched his pockets. The victim fought with the suspects and was
    able to flee from the scene. The suspects took personal property.

         Suspects: H/M, 24 years, 5’9” black scarf and dark jeans;
                  (3) B/M’s, 24 years of age.

    An attempted strong-arm robbery occurred in the area of Colesville Road & East West
    Highway in Silver Spring on Tuesday, 2/23 at 7:10 p.m. The suspect approached the adult
    male victim, blocked him against a newspaper stand and demanded personal property. The
    suspects fled after a citizen, who observed the incident, came to the aid of the victim.

         Suspect: B/M, 20-25 years, 5’10”, red hat, grey head phone, green jacket, white
                 shirt, blue jeans.

G2 Beat:

    An aggravated assault occurred in the 2100 block of Hildarose Drive in Silver Spring on
    Tuesday, 2/16 at 11:45 p.m. An adult male threatened his ex-girlfriend with a knife during a
    domestic dispute. A friend of the victim came to her aid and the suspect fled from the
    scene.

         Suspect: H/M, age 26, 5’7”, 130 lbs.,

    An aggravated assault occurred in the 9500 block of Worth Avenue in Silver Spring on
    Saturday, 2/20 at 11:20 p.m. The adult male victim and suspect argued. The suspect
    pulled out a knife and stabbed the victim. The suspect rendered help until medical/police
    assistance responded. He was arrested without incident.

         Arrested: Male, age 38.

   A residential burglary occurred in the 1700 block of Myrtle Road in Silver Spring between
   9:35 p.m. and 10:05 p.m. on Friday, 2/19. Entry was forced but nothing was taken.

H1 Beat:

   A sexual assault occurred in the 8800 block of Carroll Avenue in Silver Spring on Tuesday,
   2/23 at 8:00 p.m. The 11-year-old female victim was raped by three suspects inside the
   residence of two of the suspects. After the assault, the victim left the apartment and told her
   mother what had happened. All three suspects were arrested.

       Arrested: Male, age 31, from Silver Spring;
                 Male, age 21, from Silver Spring;
       Suspect: Male, age 35-40, from Langley Park

H2 Beat:

   An aggravated assault occurred in the 1900 block of Forest Dale Drive in Silver Spring on
   Friday, 2/19 at 9:00 a.m. The female victim advised that her husband pointed a gun at her
   at which time she pushed his hand and the gun discharged. Patrol responded and arrested
   him at the residence. The victims injuries were non-life-threatening.

       Arrested: Male, 74, from Silver Spring.

   A residential burglary/vehicle theft occurred in the 1000 block of Cresthaven Drive in
   Silver Spring between 1:00 a.m. and 9:45 a.m. on Saturday, 2/20. Entry unforced; car keys
   taken—followed by theft of the resident’s vehicle.

       Vehicle: 2005 Honda Accord, silver, with Maryland tags.

I1 Beat:

   A strong-arm robbery occurred in the 11700 block of Old Columbia Pike in Silver Spring on
   Tuesday, 2/16 at 6:30 a.m. The suspect approached the adult female victim from behind,
   displayed a knife, and demanded her purse. The victim complied and the suspect fled the
   scene with her purse.

       Suspect: B/M, 20-29 years of age, 5’6” to 5’9”, 150-170 lbs., wearing a black ski-
                mask, armed with a knife.

   A strong-arm robbery occurred in the area of Carters Grove Road & Old Columbia Pike in
   Silver Spring on Saturday, 2/20 at 4:20 a.m. The adult male victim, who was intoxicated,
   advised that the suspects, with whom he had been riding from a downtown D.C. night club,
   drove him to the above area, assaulted him, took personal property, and fled in the listed
   vehicle.

       Suspects: (4) B/M’s, 20 years of age, 5’10”;
       Vehicle: Grey Hyundai.

   An attempted commercial burglary occurred at the Children’s National Medical Center,
   12200 Plum Orchard Road in Silver Spring between 1:00 a.m. Monday, 2/15 and 3:00 p.m.
   Thursday, 2/18. Attempted forced entry, none gained, nothing taken.

     An indecent exposure incident occurred in the parking lot of the Giant Food, 11221 New
     Hampshire Avenue in Silver Spring on Monday, 2/15 at 4:00 p.m. The male suspect
     exposed himself inside a car in the parking lot of a grocery store where he was seen by a
     juvenile female.

           Suspect: W/M, 30-39 years of age, black coat, white t shirt;
           Vehicle: 4 door blue vehicle with tinted windows.

I2 Beat:

     A robbery/aggravated assault occurred in the 13800 block of Old Columbia Pike in Silver
     Spring on Tuesday, 2/16 at 11:42 p.m. The suspects approached the adult male victim and
     asked for cash. When the victim refused, he was punched and stabbed by one of the
     suspects. The victim was transported to an area hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

           Arrested: Male, 17 years, from Silver Spring;
           Suspect: B/M.

     A strong-arm robbery occurred in the 14100 block of Castle Boulevard in Burtonsville on
     Saturday, 2/20 at 7:30 a.m. The suspects approached the victim, displayed guns, forced him
     to the ground and removed his property. The suspects fled after obtaining personal propery.

           Suspects: B/M, 25 years of age, with a red & black plaid shirt covering his
                     head, armed with a rifle;
                     B/M, 6”, black ski mask, black “hoodie”, armed with a
                     handgun.
